Buying Shares in Kleenex

Another beautiful facet of aging?
Adult Onset Asthma.
Four shots a week were supposed to fix me.
They didn't.
So I get an increase in dog, cat and dust.
Such excitement.
One big merry-go-round ride here.
How's everybody else holding up?

Aside from the fact that I do not recognize that woman who is staring back at me any time I look in a mirror, just fine, thank you!

I'm sorry. As for me I was sitting in my little cubicle minding my own business when I was teleported to a tropical jungle, if you get my drip.

Adult Onset Asthma?

Great. Next thing you know, hormones will be responsible for adult onset insanity.

Oh wait....

I had my first asthma attack during a step aerobics class at age 28. Since then, the inhaler is my friend. It's actually gotten a little better now that I'm in menopause, though. Imagine that!

Peace - D

Sorry to hear about all those shots. I know you've mentioned them before.
It's snowing here today in Maryland and the schools are closed. Take care!

Yeah this getting old sucks! Sorry about the extra shots-snowing here finally- no school. Little T called to rub it in!

How am I holding out?? Still waiting for this weight to fall off? Is this part of the growing old process!

You've got my sympathies, Mama.

I've decided adult onset asthma sucks toads no matter how it presents. I'd have done the shots too... you always hear about how it helps so many allergic asthmatics.

Middle age? Let's see... sleeplessness followed by pudge, all dolled up with a loss of skin elasticity and multiple chins? Oh! And don't forget the failing eyesight....I love it!

I am so sick of adult onset things! I can't help but regard them as lazy, tardy, and rude.

Hope your new dosage has you breathing freely soon. Asthma is frightening stuff.

This adult onset anything sucks!- ugh,

4 shots a week? Ouch! I'm so sorry for you:( I would be totally screwed. I whined when they stuck me once to take blood yesterday(see yesterdays post)

Hang in there!

That sucks for you...I agree with Marlene above...just don't develop an allergy to wine! :-) Feel better!

My immediate reaction was 'its the lack of histamines in the wine' .. seriously .. forget the steriods go get a nice bottle of Chard ...

Oh..that is not fun. Sorry there has been no remedy. This winter alone, I have used the 3 boxes of Kleenex in inventory and then purchased another 4 boxes...and now working on the latest 3. Maybe we should buy their stock!

I don't have asthma, but somehow I got the asthma cough. I'll be off to the allergist again to figure out where this cough is coming from. Getting older sucks.

I'm holding up quite nicely, thank you. Well, except for the excess facial hair, the spare tire around my waist, the varicose veins, the insomnia,........

Freezing! Posted some ice photos just a few minutes ago. Sorry you're having to deal with asthma. My father started meds this past year. He hates it. My son has had it since he was born. I feel your pain.

That sucks. I went through a series of shots like that back in my twenties.

Funny you should mention that. After the pneumonia bout it turned into adult onset.....ta da! Yes asthma. I'm still trying to get the right inhalers down. I have two different kinds right now and hope to bring it down to one. It is getting a little better and at least that damn heavy elephant is off my chest now and I can breathe better....not perfect but better. Age is hell.
