More of Mama's well-fed animal kingdom.

I cannot wait to actually learn how to use this camera.

These are beautiful. Be sure to bring your new toy to this summer's blog fest (BHE will send you details if she hasn't already.)

I think you've definitely got a good start. Your pictures are fabulous!

Are you going to take a class? Or doing the learn as you go method?

Why do I love the squirrels so much? They are actually cuter rodents of sort, but I find them adorable! Keep up the good work!

I love these photos and by the look of those chubby wubby creatures, does that mean I might get snow this year?

They are so cute, especially the second one...she definitely needs the pill.

Love them and I might add, that you are really good with that camera!

I admdit that I would not know a titmouse from an assmouse--yeah, I know...the wittier I think I am, the wittier I really am NOT. Heh...but I do know that I love Miss Fluffy Puffy in the middle picture. She's so pretty!

And I also know that, for not knowing what you're doing, you're taking some pretty awesome pix!

I think your doing a great job with the new camera. I'm loving the animal pictures so much. Chubby girl just has her winter fur on and fluffed up. Same as me, my winter layer and it's fluffy to boot.

Wow. I can almost see the one bird chewing on that piece of seed! Of course, we want more and more!

I'm jealous. I want, but can't have. Whaaaaa! Zoom, Zoom, Zoom!

Oh crap, now that's in my head.

I'd say you are taking some pretty nice pictures with your new camera.

I love you wild life. Except the squirrels - not my favorite creature.

Fun fun fun! You will never learn it all - that is why it's so fun, cause there is always something more. One tip that it took me a while to figure out is that when you are shooting birds, squirrels, puppy dogs, kids or pesky husbands, make sure you put the focus right on their eye[s]. I could not figure out what I was missing till I ran across this on a nature photgraphy site - makes a huge difference. Also Scott Kelby's books are great as it "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. They will help you get it off that little "M" on the dial and really start figuring things out. A year from now you won't belive how far you have come.

Those animals do look well fed. Please forgive my boldness Mental, but I am doing just a bit of blog surfing to tell people about my giveaway. There are no gimmicks. It is just my way of celebrating two yeas of blogging. I am giving away a free caricature drawn by me. I'd be honored if you came over to take a peek.

I think you are doing very well! Love the squirrel and Ms Fluff the bird. I swear we only have crows and opposums in California.

These are great! What lens did you use to take these? How far away from them are you? I think it's so much fun to learn photography!
