Back to Business

The party's over.
  I've toasted our new President.
I've toasted the new First Lady.
I've toasted the new First Children.
 I've toasted my birthday.
 Many times.
Many, many times.
I've toasted my children's safe return from a holiday in Costa Rica.
It's time to put away the chardonnay.
Time to get back on the treadmill.
Time to get serious.
Again.
Thank you everyone for my wonderful birthday wishes!
I was overwhelmed.

Wait a minute! You and I HAVE NOT shared a birthday toast! So your good intentions will just have to wait one more day!

You are being SO good; I once again must bow to you for getting right back on track after the Birthday and Inauguration festivities.

I DO hope you toasted the new First Children TWICE, since there are two new First Childrens. And then maybe TWO MORE TIMES because those new First Childrens are so extremely cute! Good gene pool, I think :).

I am so glad you had a good birthday; you deserve it, my friend!

Rock on, MPM!

As my daughters would say, "Are you sure you're 29? You look much, much younger!"

I love those girls....

Well, take today off, but tomorrow is the start of the weekend, and chardonnay is in order. You have to toast to the weekend, don't you?

I'd exercise more if it wasn't so painful and it didn't make me spill my drink! :)

Please do not under rate our blizzards :) you have never seen anything like people in the south when it snows (writer EXCLUDED of course) they drive faster, they attack the grocery stores and shut everything down... I will never forget back in 1987 I had just moved to Georgia and I was at work and it began to snow... by noon the plant was closed we were sent home... we missed 2 days of work over 3 inches of SNOW. Can you imagine 3 measily inches SHUT the world down!!! so when snow flies in Ga be ready to hide from the brainless who loose all common sense .... Giggles ME

Boy you sure know how to make getting "back to (normal) business" sound exciting. I bet our children have lots to share about their vacation in Costa Rica.

An extra 20 min on the treadmill and you can have a glass of vino ...

LOL - - great post, but if you're not quite ready to get back to business as usual, there's always more things to toast!
Enjoy the day, and again, Happy Birthday :)
