A Lady and a Diet Update

First, the lady:
Nice.
Is that what all that dieting did to you, honey?
Oh, and happy birthday Kirstie.

And another big Happy Birthday to Cool Breeze!
I am sure he and his lovely bride, Big Hair Envy, will be celebrating in an appropriate, South Beach manner.  This whole diet business was their idea.  Right?  Right?

Anyway, let's talk about me now.
Today is Day 8 for me on The Sonoma Diet.
I have lost 6 pounds since last Monday.
SIX POUNDS.
I wanted to make sure you heard me.
I feel good.
My skin looks better.
I sleep better.
I function better.
Maybe there is something to this healthy living business.
Okay, enough about me;
How's everybody else doing?

ohhhhh Kirstie! Man, does she look bitter, or what?

Congrats on the 6 pounds. I think I may need to try that diet.

Keep up the great work.

Why is it not 5:00 yet?

It is getting easier with each passing day...I also feel so much better, have more energy, and am less ravenous then I was in previous days...I might be able to make this one stick...

Congratulations to you!!!

Blew it this weekend with the big B-day dinner ... high blood pressure at the doctor today ... feel great though on my big day.

Funny you put Kirstie up there. I shouldn't tell you this but we have the same last name (it's a bit unusual) and the same B-day. I don't know of any relationship though.

Why to go there, girl! You can whittle away and eat healthy. As for me, I'm not doing quite so well.

Way to go - and thank you so much for the birthday video - I am having serious computer issues and haven't been able to watch it, but i had someone look at it for me and convey the essence of it.

right now i am over at a friend's house borrowing the computer and sippng wine from a tin cup. You tell me how I'm doing....

Seriously am proud of your discipline -keep it up.

You are an inspiration. Really. Maybe I could do this too.

Don't read my post. I has a bad word in it.

Oh isn't she such a lovely sight? I have never been a fan of hers and still am not. And she needs to just give it up and be happy with herself...oh wait, that might be the problem in the first place huh?

But as for you.........
congratulations. I am jealous, and happy for you. I keep saying I am going to do something and yet here I sit in front of this stupid computer!

i was going to mention how much better your skin looked. although i have always thought it was fabulous.

congrats on the 6! woo hoo!

i have been crappy. i haven't been ignoring you, i just let life get a little bit away from me. so 'hi' again.

love the finger. maybe the photographer was antagonizing her? not if it was you though. unless you hate her. then, do what you like!

That is surely one of the scariest pictures ever! Hopefully, it was before rehab...

6 POUNDS!?!? In 8 days? God, I wish I was your age again, lol.

I'm exercising & started riding bikes w/ a friend. I just want to teach my skin to have elasticity again and quit drooping.

Seeing Kirstie like that makes me grateful I'm not a celebrity!

Congrats on losing the 6 lbs! I hope you never find them.

You lost it? Oh don't worry I found it and am keeping your six pounds safe incase you want it back again. It is fitting in nicely with my own 20 that I carry with me where ever I go.

OMG!!! SIX POUNDS??? You're going to blow away in the wind!! Only one more day, and YOU can have WINE!!! YAY!

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm feeling better AND enjoying the diet banter in the blogosphere!!!

That photo of Kirstie must have been taken on her first day of dieting....without wine. There is probably a similar one of me out there somewhere!!! Bwahahaha!
