Setting Priorities

My monkeys and I went college-visiting over the past weekend. It was very enlightening. Keep in mind, will you, that these two are very good students and fine citizens. No one knows where they get these traits from, but I digress.

Apparently, Augie will only attend a school where they dress like thugs. This was a child who would not go to elementary school without a crease in his khakis.
Bird? Well the water pressure in the shower and closet size are her sticking points.
Wish me luck.

LOL. Our last two of five picked their colleges for next year, so at least that's behind us! Well, except for paying for two more...

I've already picked out my kids college for them, they have no idea. They have no idea about the plans I have for them. Do I have any chance!!??

Sounds like Augie and Birdy have honed in on the really important points of choosing the college of their choices! :-)

College visiting is a good time. I have a long way to go for that but I am betting I will be way pickier than my kids. I will probably drive them nuts!

Thought I'd stop by and repay the compliment - your children are gorgeous. Daughter, Gypsy, will stay in town for college, but don't know what in the world Fiddler will do. He's in 10th grade.

As far as mental pause - went through that 7 years ago and haven't looked back. I heart HRT!
