During The Bird's graduation celebration on Friday evening, the father of one of her classmates became ill and was taken to the hospital. He underwent an emergency angioplasty, but, sadly, he passed away on Sunday. Today, her class comes together once again to offer their love and support for their bereft friend and her family. I cannot even imagine.
Life is short, my friends, enjoy every moment. You never know.

How hearbreaking. I pray He comforts this family with His peace and love.
That is absolutely horrible! That poor family. You are right, we need to enjoy every moment.
Oh .. I am so sorry for their loss ... there is never a good time to lose a parent ... hugs to all
Oh my gosh, how tragic.
My thoughts are with the family...
I am so sorry to hear about this. I will be praying for this family and for all the girl's who will be going. What an awful lesson to have to learn at such a wonderful time.
That gave me cold chills. My goodness. I can't imagine. I'm thinking of the family and friends.
How horrid for that classmate especially, to associate such a happy event with her dad's passing. I'm so sorry.
very true, we don't remember that enough do we, my prayers are with the family.
I am sad. We all need to be reminded, as you say...to enjoy every moment. Prayers for all.
It is never easy to loose a loved one...and at such a joyful time. The comfort of friends means more than anything. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
How sad. You are right about enjoying every moment we have on earth.
I cannot imagine as it is so heartbreaking and tragic.
We never know the hour or the day. That young lady is so lucky to have such wonderful friends to be by her side.
An awful thing. Peace to that family.
Wow. My heart breaks for the family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of them.
Good lesson to remember. We don't know when our last breath will be. Thanks for reminding us to enjoy the ride.
That is a sad story. It will be difficult for her to remember her graduation in a positive light. On the other hand, at least he got to see his daughter graduate.
Peace and Blessings to all of them.
I can't even imagine...
Aren't we ALL fortunate to have friends??
I know how it is. One of SD's friends Mom died the night of prom the year they graduated. And he was prom king w/ SD being prom queen. It really makes you stop to notice & enjoy every little thing, doesn't it? Well, it does me... But, I've been losing too many friends lately, which are constant reminders.
Oh my, that makes me so sad. That poor child.
Just last month, during my son's college graduation, I looked to the right and there in the bleachers was a man laying down and the paramedics
"working" on him. It almost felt intrusive to be there, with students walking across the stage, probably unaware of what was going on. Sadly, I do not know the outcome.
You are so right - life is short and you just never know.
Oh, that is simply tragic. Absolutely tragic.
Embrace each and every moment!
Enjoying what I can here. So sad for the girl's family.
Ohhhhhhhhhh....that breaks my heart for their family...life can not be taken for granted...life is so precious...my thoughts and prayers go out to their family.
My heart is broken for all. Thank God they have each other for comfort.
That is just tragic. I can't imagine either.
Oh those poor people. That is a heart-wrenching story.
Will remember this family. Life truly is precious.
Oh my, that is so heartbreaking. My thoughts are with the family.
Oh how absolutely sad that is. Heartbreaking for the entire family. Her prom memories will never be the same anymore.
My thoughts and prayers going out to all.
And I will tell you that they came together beautifully. All were not best friends but the hugs, kisses, tears and love they gave was heartfelt for their fellow classmate and her family.
They will be, as I was told by the Mom and NSLO's best friend, forever grateful for this amazing outpouring of love and support.
May we all witness the love of family wether blood or not in our times of need.
You are right mama, how well I know things can change in a moment. Sending love and prayers to the family.
Oh what a heart-breaker. I'm so sorry for that sadness.
Oh, that is so sad.
Carpe diem - seize the day.
