Sunday Morning

I value my garden more for being full of blackbirds than of cherries, and very frankly give them fruit for their songs.

Wishing you a Sunday full of song.

Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened the birds began to sing,
Oh wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king?

Sorry, this just came out of no where!

Great picture! I mostly have blackbirds and doves in my back yard. I would kill for a blue jay or cardinal, but I guess I will take what I can get.

I have had a lot of luck with a bird bath that my daughter gave me. A heavy thing that is square and has a raised center section. And Celtic decorations. LOL

What absolute perfection... nature as it is.

Hey, I've got Grackles. Does that count? And foxes. And Blue Jays that like to dive bomb the foxes. I'm just waiting around to see her eat one of them.

I love to watch the birds...that is a cool pic! I was looking at your pic's on FB where it said you were tagged and I love your yard...the grass is so green and your pool looks beautiful...maybe with your horoscope above just go lay out by the pool and relax...that would surely help me I know.
