My Mama

Mental P and her Mama: Summer 1960
Today would have been my mother's 79th birthday.
She was a smart, beautiful and fun Southern Lady.
We had our moments, and we had our laughs.
And I miss her terribly.
Always.

Oh!!! Instant welling up of tears. I know exactly how you feel, as this is the way I feel every January 17. Always.

Mama's Mama was beautiful, with a great set of gams! And with a beautiful, very obviously much-loved and gorgeously-bonnetted little baby girl.

Happy, Happy Birthday, Mama's Mama...

Girl, I swear my own mother had the same suit AND the same hat. You seem a tad more stylish now.

Mother

There is but one and only one whose love will fail you never. One who lives from sun to sun with constant fond endeavor.

There is but one and only one on earth there is no other. In Heaven a noble work was done when God gave man a Mother.

Remember the best parts of your life together...she does:)

My mom passed June 1, 2002, and I miss her every day. She was a wonderful, intelligent woman who loved life. She disappeared before our eyes with the horrible disease of Alzheimer's.

Remember the good times you had with her today.

My mother would have been 89 today - her name was Christine, but they called her "Patsy" as a kid because of the St Paddy's Day birthday.

I thought a lot about her today. Missing her.
