Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

The one where the Internet went down and my tech was at his father's, the gym, a concert and just about anywhere but here where his mother needed him:
Problem solve, he says.
gah
I may have cried at this point.
So he goes to the gym?
And his mother is still without Internet?
I may have cried again.
And the next day?
When he finally answers his mother's plea for help?
He is on his way to a concert.
It was like a bad dream.
I may have cried again.
Aaaaand. 2 1/2 hours later?
I did it!
He can just go on back to school now.
I've got this.

I, myself, had a moment with my oldest son, where he was the parent and I was the child just this past week. Glad you got it done!!!

O A R is awesome. He is very blessed!

My 15-year-old is my tech consultant and any second he's gone I panic.

Please come down and give me a seminar on what you've learned.

Snort. Mama showed him...that's right, leave me hangin, kid. Did I ever leave you hangin? NO! Dammit.

I laughed out loud. Smack him for me.

Yay! It's always a real eye opener when we discover we can do things without our childrens help. And, you get better at it as you go along.

Boys and their concerts!!!!!! Argh.

Sounds like me with my son years ago. Once he put his friend on the phone with me. The guy was very polite and helpful. Most unlike my son!!
