Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

Wherein I am still the cook and nursemaid:

After coming home and asking for either chicken parm or meatballs, he promptly made other plans. And, you have never lived until you have to convince an 18-year-old man/boy to go to his pediatrician because he needs pink eye drops. Gah.

Don't you love how chatty he is?

You just can't shut that kid up, can you?!

At least he didn't just say, "k".

And he must not have too much vanity if he went out with pink-eye. Verbosity AND confidence. You raised him well :)

I get one word answers too....but at tleast the lines of communication are open...and they ultimately do what you ask them to do....some/most of the time :)

He is a man/boy of few words, but a lot of love for his mama.

Yes, the male species isn't known for their long-winded soliloquies, are they? Well, except when they are trying to show off . . .or prove that you are wrong . . . or when they try to explain something to you that you have absolutely NO interest in . . .

When we were almost there.....two more weeks he'll be married and I'll miss our in depth conversations hahaha and the other one...well you know....I am happy just to stare at him because it will be a very long time before I can lay my eyes on him....so I will take the quiet.........MOTHERHOOD IS NOT FOR SISSIES!!!!
