This-n-That Thursday

The Inane:
  • I have too many passwords to remember.
  • My new favorite expression is "harmless as a sofa."
  • I could care less what Chelsea Clinton's wedding costs.
  • Shark Week starts Sunday!
  • I am also slightly obsessed with House Hunters and House Hunters International on HGTV. I currently would like to move to La Paz, Belize, Panama or Grand Cayman.
  • I am way over the craze to put foam all over a nice dish and declare it haute cuisine.
  • I am also way over the need for everyone and everything to have a brand. Can't we just be?
  • How many Prevention magazines am I going to buy in the grocery checkout line before I just do what they say every time?
  • I dream about Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist at least once a week. Maybe I should stop watching so much Morning Joe.
  • I did traveling lunges all the way around the dog park yesterday. Ouch.
What about you? Please make me feel like there are other rambling minds out there....

Not only do I have a rambling mind...BUT...I also have to verbalize every stinking thought that enters my brain. Then there's also the second-guessing, the analyzing, the obsessing, etc, etc, etc. It drives me, and everyone else, absolutely nutso.

So see, you're not the only one.

:o)

I didn't know there was any other way besides rambling...

House Hunters International is my favorite, with the non-international a close second. Hoarders and now Animal Hoarders is also on the list.

Good job with the lunges. The only thing I lunge for is the refrigerator.

Some days rambling is all I do. You know this is my favorite blogging day of the week. I love the ability to data dump once a week. It cleans house, so to speak. Have a great day.

Yea, uh...I am somewhat obsessed with Billy the Exterminator on A & E lately...must be a lack of shows on right now, or what? Crazy. My youngest daughter gets mad when I say "Did I not just say.." or "Is that not true?" Hmm. I haven't done any lunges, but should! Have a good day...

Oh, I love those House Hunter shows too. Nurse Nancy and I are planning a trip to Belize for our 25th anniversary. Oh, and we are taking the husbands too.

oh, i love house hunters too. i just an addiction to hgtv in general. once it gets on that channel, i can't seem to click away. when i was doing some re-decorating i was watching a lot. i've calmed down a bit lately tho. but just reading your sentence on that made me long for it!

I could watch HGTV 24/7. This is not a good thing.

I pride myself on being random. I also find comfort in HGTV (except Mike Holmes, he annoys me), I think because solutions are always found and everyone has a happy ending.

"Harmless as a sofa" Love that.

I try to use the same password for everything. Try to.

I don't know that I get what the hubbub is over Chelsea's wedding and how much they spent on flowers *alone.* It's her wedding. They're paying for it - yay them. What's it to me? Nothing, that's what. Best wishes.

My mind rambles like a guitar picker sitting next to a bango picker!!

I try to keep my passwords to 5! And I think that is too many...

the heat has snapped my energy...

why is it just when you think you are making headway...Bam! there are other plans to deal with...

has the verdict come back for Blago yet?

I know what to do regarding dieting, I just choose otherwise!

Tonight may be martini night...

I have to admit that I was at one time a wearer of *brands* but found that my 50's could care less. Amen.

Harmless as a sofa. I love it! I may have to steal that from you & use it as often as possible.

So after talking about what a plain child Chelsea Clinton was when the Clintons were in the White House, the media now wants to make her wedding miserable? I say we take all of the papparazzi out back & shoot them.

I'm still loving the whole swimming thing & haven't once been in pain, which is precisely WHY I usually stop exercising...
