Sons...
Snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails,
Mama's boy makes her bite her nails.
"Be careful," three times she writes,
And then doesn't sleep the next two nights...
And daughters....
Sugar, spice, and everything nice,
Looking for her mommy's advice.
As a conversationalist, always astute,
And as you can see, a chef to boot!
And I wouldn't have them any other way♥

And Mama is a poet!
Sigh....so true....the difference between my boys and my girls...but they are all so special and unique in their own ways!
As usual - I LOVE Tuesday Text! :)
It is fun to see both perspectives though! Thanks for sharing!
i woudl faint if i got a short to the point text from my daughter... cory however is a man of few words and mostly grunts and thankfully always ends it with an I LOVE YOU MAMA. :D
Tell Augie to make sure he doesn't run into a "Situation" where he bumps into Snookie:)
Mama *is* a poet! Love it!
Good Morning Mental P Mama! I had to get my Tuesday Text Fix!
I just love the relationship that you have with your children. It is a beautiful thing:)
So funny. I worry for my girls all the time. When K2 moves out, I'll probably be all texty with her too!
Kudos to the bird for her cookery!
I love this little glimpse into your relationship with your kids. Lucky you, lucky them!
I'll type what I said out loud....
Awwwww ♥♥♥♥♥
OMG. I loved this!
And hey, when Matt was at UVa, they needed a copy of his AP scores as well (even though we sent them from here, where I work, at the school from where he graduated). So I had to go into the student records room and get them and send them AGAIN.
Now I want that omelet.
The next Poet Laureate of the US of A obviously resides in Wilton, CT's Avalon complex! I'm impressed.
I'll have an omelette, some squash and more poetry, please.
Love it! But my girls keep me up nights, too.
They are lucky children...good mom....smiles.
You are so clever. And I love how much you love your babies.
