Dear Alitalia:

As long as there is no seat-kicking rugrat behind me, it'll be just fine....

Your Personality at 35,000 Feet Is Thoughtful and Contemplative

Deep down, you prefer spending time alone to spending time with others. You enjoy thinking more than talking.

You are good with your place in the world. You are confident and comfortable with who you are.

Your gift is having a way with words. You know how to express yourself well.

You are inspired by what is possible. Real life is often too ordinary for you.

It's very easy for you to feel happy. You can find peace with any situation.

Having spent 9 hours on a flight to Hawaii with a very unhappy 2 year old about 4 rows away, I know exactly what you mean. Hope your flight is quiet and uneventful!

I always opt for late night overseas flights, take an Xanax and ask to be awakened in time for coffee before landing .. is Squazz going too?

I hope you have an awesome trip - I LOVED Italy! Are you going to do the whole, "Eat Pray Love" thing? At least eat your way through - I was on the quest to find the perfect gelato.... a "10" rating. Never did find it - I should have sampled some more while I was there! I did find a 9.5 gelato in the Cinque Terre area - it was fabulous!

Ahhh...Rome...I was there on my birthday last year, which was really quite wonderful....here's a link to my blog story for that day...

I wish I could remember the name of the delightful restaurant we had lunch at - it was right by the Vatican...and the service and food was outstanding!

I hope you have a fantastic trip! Cheese & bread & wine for me, too, please!

OOh, I'm excited to see some pics (no pressure), I went 25 years ago, good God, lost custody of my pics. We spend 3 wks traveling by rail, avoided the big cities because we had just bombed Libya. Best time was on the Amalfi coast, over to Capri. It was rainy & cold as it was still spring so we stayed south. Have a great time, I hope they still put wine and bread on the table, oh mama!
