I just love the feeling that they are sleeping under the same roof as I am. For the time being....What are you happy about today?

I'm happy about wrinkles! (see my latest post to see why) I know what you're talking about when you feel happy having the family together under one roof. It doesn't change even when they expand the family with their own.
School is almost out....
My hectic life is calming down...
Yay! for extra dog walkers and fashionista help! I know how you feel, nothing like having our chicks under 1 roof.
I am happy you are happy.
I'm happy to be visiting Charleston, South Carolina soon! I'm happy The Husband spotted the leak in the ceiling and got the central unit repaired before the ceiling caved in. I'm happy the hydrangeas are blooming.
Ya'll have a great holiday weekend!
Awesome. Nothing like togetherness ;0) That should wear off right about the time they are due to go back!
I understand that feeling well. I had that honor last weekend in Portland. Fun, girly things with my girls. I love having them home and under my roof so I can cook and talk and fill in all the spaces, which is happening less and less. At some point they get busy with jobs and you have to go to them. So enjoy!
I'm happy about ant poison, and it's a good thing because I've been accidentally ingesting it for some time now since it's all over everything in the kitchen.
Also, I'm happy it's a long weekend and I'm going to be away with my two babies.
I'm happy that I will be spending some time with my sisters, my girlfriends, my daughter and her girlfriends this weekend. Girls RULE!! AND, we're going to watch the last episode of "Glee", which we missed due to the chorus concert! Life. Is. Good.
What a lovely list. I'll tell you one of the things I am happy about today, but it will be a tad lengthy.
Earlier today I was out in the garden with the dog, and as we came inside, it turned out she had something in her mouth. A former something, as it happens.
One of the few fears I have that I have trouble controlling is a fear of dead birds. I let out a piercing shriek, and my startled dog dropped the part of the bird she had in her mouth. I ushered us both in, and stood fretting over what had clearly been some departed bird's wing, right outside the sliding glass door.
It's a beautiful day, it's warm, and not windy. A first for this Spring. A perfect day to use the pool...if it weren't for the remains of a mortal coil some bird had shuffled off.
Eventually, my son came upstairs, and although I am hardly ever prone to playing the delicate flower, I began explaining my predicament to him. Before I could even finish he said, "Let me just go to the bathroom, and then I'll get it."
I tried to launch into my, "You know this isn't about gender, where I'm just too much of a girl..." because it is important to me that my son believe in gender equality.
He said, "I know, you're afraid of dead things. It's okay."
So that was what made me happiest today. My son took care of my scary problem, and was kind to a fear that he knows I have.
And I saw a glimpse of the good man he is not merely becoming any longer, but sometimes already is.
I am happy for you and happy for my boy that he has a good dad!
I am happy that school is almost over!
I'm happy to be groovin' along!
And I'm happy you're happy!
I'm happy that my little Jack will turn two tomorrow. When I asked him how old he was going to be, his answer was "boom". I have no idea why. Too cute...
Also happy that we bought a new sofa today and it will be in my home in 30 days or so.
Glad they are home with Mom! I am just glad in a general sort of way :)
It does feel good when everyone's under the same roof, and I can totally relate to that.
What a happy post, and how wonderful that you have so many good things to celebrate now your kids are at home!
But the laundry...now that's pushing it! ;)
Happy for you! The joys of reunions. I remember coming home from college and feeling an incredible sense of calm and "all is right with the world."
p.s. If you come down here, you can have children under your roof every single night!! :::sigh:::
I can relate. It's nice when they're gone. And it's nice when they're home.
I'm happy that the Phillies are in first place.
If you're enjoying laundry then you really did miss them! Enjoy your privacy & your babies....
Awe....It's so good to hear the contentment in your cyber voice. Savor every moment. August comes at you fast.
I'm happy that JJ has a home away from home at his Doggie Daycare. It gives him a place to romp with his new GF Brownie so GJ can get some rest.
Ha! Your fasion consultant--at least not your fashion police or Nazi. What fun you have in store. And your driver is beeutiful!
