Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

Since Augie is home and all snuggled in his 100 pounds of laundry bed, I got to spend some face time with him on Mother's Day. It was wonderful, and I now have new Villanova pj's and a new coffee mug;) But my Bird is still in Virginia. So we had our first Mother's Day apart.

This coming weekend, I get to have another Mother's Day with this baby:
I cannot wait.

The expectation is such fun, isn't it? Mine comes from Trinidad with her 2 kids for the whole month of August- can't wait! Just counting down the days.

Aw, she is so beautiful! This Mother's Day was somewhat bittersweet for me for a variety of reasons... but when I realized that it was probably my last with my daughter at home, well that really got to me!

Hope you had a happy day, and have a wonderful Mother's Day Take Two. :)

I'm not sure which is more difficult to endure: the Mother's Day apart of the 100 pounds of laundry.

that should be the mother's day apart OR the 100 lbs of laundry. Or, not of.

What a cutie. Mother's Days apart from the kidlet is not right. Enjoy your make up date. :)

Let me whine a sec....My mothers Day, no cards, no gifts, nothing. My son finally called later in the day, my daughter went to lunch with me (because I was paying,) went to the movies with me (I cried the WHOLE time), no call from my dil or step or grand kids. My dog is dying....this day sucked! OK, pitty party over.
WAIT....that is not true....I forgot, my daughter got me a wonderful candle. Oh darn it, now I sound so ungrateful. My head is not on straight.
The movie was the Back Up Plan, main character...Zoe (like my momma girl) other character is a dog that is handicapped (My momma girl is rather handicapped now too.) I cried all the way through the movie...very sad day. The end is near, maybe even tomorrow. Crying again...sorry.
