Friday Funday

Let's gear up for a rollicking weekend Mental P style...
  • Teeth scraping and gum gouging dentist appointment.
  • Eat a sensible egg white omelet.
  • Happily chop away at put on hazmat suit and brave more of Augie's laundry pile.
  • Tweezer time.
  • Order these. Hey, they're free....
  • More laundry.
  • Check what's going on with Facebook and the owlets.
  • See what the neighbors are doing.
  • Squats.
  • Eat a healthy salad.
  • Check what's going on with Facebook and the hummingbird nest.
  • Back in Augie's room, discover what that smell is.
  • Eat a pound of dark chocolate. It's good for your circulation.
  • Do more squats.
  • Fortified, go back in Augie's room. Give up after a few minutes.
  • Check in magnifying mirror for new arrivals to attack with tweezers.
  • Open red wine. Hey, it's good for your circulation.
  • Declare day over.
What are you doing today?

Funny. Also just red dark chocolate is good protection from sunburn.

You had to go & get me hooked on the hummingbird cam. I could waste many long hours watching that...

A smell in a boy's room? Hahahaha... So what else is new?

Our son is coming in for the weekend so I'm not looking forward to the smells from his room...

Open up red wine and declare day over? You give up too quickly.

I had a good laugh reading this- thanks! I'll tell you something very important I've learned (since I'm older): red wine and dark chocolate are heavenly together!

I know I have an awesome day planned - I get to go get blood drawn at the doctor's office! Woot! Now, doesn't that sound exciting for a Friday??!!

STAY AWAY FROM THE MAGNIFYING MIRROR....

You are seriously demented - and I love that about you. :)

I'm with ya on the dark chocolate and the red wine.

Wish I'd worked out this morning as planned. Shrug and do it tomorrow. Finish cleaning after work (anything so I don't have to do it Saturday). Red wine.

think I'll start at the red wine. Only make mine a gin tonic in Florida. If you have your druthers.

Driving in downtown Seattle, paying too much for parking, drugging my daughter and working from home. Nothing I want to be doing.

As my son says, I'm on the downhill side of the bubble. I will certainly need the 'free' things...probably sooner than I want!

You are too funny!

Today after I came back from taking Granddaughter to school, I mowed the yard, even though it was wet, but they were calling for MORE rain, had to use grass catcher, came into house, ate a bite of breakfast, flipped my husbands mattress and put on clean sheets, ran dust mop around his bedroom, sorted clothes, started laundry, still working on that, fixed a bite to eat for lunch time, did up both the breakfast and lunch dishes, swept up the kitchen and family room, left early to pick up Granddaughter from school, took a book along to read while waiting and I dozed off. Such a nice sunny afternoon and the breeze is just right, cool. Time to get another load from the dryer and put in a load of sheets to dry. Will be supper time before I know it. That's my Friday, so far. By 7pm, I'll probably be dozing in front of the TV with the Granddaughter with my book in one hand. LOL Also I'll have to play a game or two on Facebook games, love to compete with my friends. But my night won't be over until I call my Mom and we talk for a while. Bless her, I don't know what I will do when she's no longer around. We talk everyday, sometimes several times a day. Had my teeth cleaned two weeks ago, they charge as much to clean my 8, as they do for a full set of teeth. Have one terrific week-end.

Loved it! I'll pass on the dark chocolate, but go for the wine, especially if Mental P Mama says it's good for the circulation!

I'm going to prolong work by going to find out what the free stuff is. If you see what the neighbors are doing be sure to share it here.

Your neighbors are sort of like my Facebook owlets and hummingbirds. I have a peculiar fascination and obsession, although in this case I've not even seen them yet.
