The one where I procrastinate and spend time writing about it:
- It's really easy to switch your closet back to warm-weather clothes when you never made the switch for winter.
- If you shuffle the papers around on your desk long enough, some of them become outdated and you can then throw them away. Now that is what I call progress.
- How long do you wait for a sore tooth before you call the dentist? I am thinking six months.
- Clean clothes can just as easily be worn from where they sit in the laundry basket. Putting them away takes up valuable time that you can better use to organize your desk
shuffle those annoying papers around. - The closet floor can serve as a receptacle for dirty things until you finish wearing everything in the basket.
- Put some socks on the dog for easy dust-mopping.
- Ditto for the cat, but expect to find them hidden in the litter box.
- What is the difference between procrastination and laziness?
- I am hoping: "A lot."
- "Andy Griffith" on TVLand is the best time waster. Every. Single. Night.
- How can you beat Aunt Bea, Barney and Miss Crump? Seriously?
- Oops. I think I just remembered mildewing laundry.
- Stupid bills get in the way of everything. Even laundry.
- See? There's a cure for laundry. But do you dare?

Oh, you're good.
Yeah, on everything you said.
And I might do my taxes in August. :)
Socks on the dog. Brilliant! I'm rather ashamed of myself for not thinking of that before.
I bow before your awesomeness, O Great Procrastinating One!
I like your laundry philosophy and hearby adopt it as my own. Case closed.
The answer to that one about the bad tooth and how long to wait: seven years, and then have it pulled. No big deal.
ah ha...see, laundry build up is not laziness after all!
*crap* Thanks for the reminder! I have mildewing laundry as we speak, well, blog as it were! Ahhhh!
You made me laugh right out loud this morning! I think I'll get a dog! A great post!
Sox on My Dog. Does anyone have this yet for a blog?
I would bow to your procrastinating greatness, but think I will try that later...
Mama.
I agree on the procrastinating, the office cleaning and the tooth delays. I find myself stunned that you and I practice the same laundry habits. Bravo!
Just yesterday I sorted through a very large pile of papers that had been accumulating for weeks. You're right... I threw most of them away!
It's odd how these things work - several people today have mentioned how they're feeling a bit unmotivated. Must be something in the air.
I think what you said it's brilliant!
A woman after my own heart!! Were we separated at birth?
Laundry is from the devil.
Evil! Evil! Evil!
At least we have washing machines. Did you read my great-grandmother's process for washing clothes? Here's the link: http://starwoodgal.wordpress.com/2008/03/29/an-authenic-kentucky-recipe-for-washing-clothes/
I bow to your brilliance ..
I agree with socks on the dog for sure...well I agree with everything you said...actually I am in deep...deep in laundry hell and desk crap!!! Deep crap...yep that's it...that's the ticket!!!!! DEEP CRAP!
No socks on the cat, huh?
I sure feel better about my own house now. Thanks!
You're my hero. You can wait 6 months for a sore tooth and about 12 hours before it gets serious, then you'll WANT to see the jerk. :)
Don’t forget about Gomer and Goober!
laundry calls but first i'm off to put those socks on the dog...thanks for the tip j)
Exactly! And I feel better that there is someone else who thinks the same as me!
Damn laundry!
my husband is manic about laundry. every day,he does at least one load AND puts it away. he is like the energizer bunny! I'll send him your way...
he works for gin! Bombay Sapphire, please.
I use a bench in my room for clean clothes...it works!
Off to do the laundry......I've already "cleaned" off the desk!
Favorite day of your posts!
Thinking tonight the clothes dry faster if you leave them in the washer 3 days....
I shuffled papers this morning and threw away 3.
We so think alike. Aquarians.
Guilty to most of the charges...
I had a witty comment on the bus earlier today. Alas, it's left my head. (And that probably to your advantage!) But a good TTT read
I totally agree that laundry can be worn just as easily (if not more so) from the basket - or from the pile on the dryer- as from the drawers in the bedroom. I am glad I am not the only one who does that!
My husband and I watch Andy Griffith sometimes. It just feels like the good old days, doesn't it?
