The Bird and My Other Babies Take Over

The Gang:
They Play.
They make a mess.
I sit upstairs in my designated place.
I can hear the fun.
They giggle and squeal.
They talk and talk and talk.
And laugh and laugh and laugh.
All those other mamas' babies along with mine....
I don't want a single one of them to leave.
And yet I am so proud of their wingspan.

Awww, right this moment, I can totally understand how I'm going to feel when my own birds are getting ready to fly from the nest.

Head over to see what my fledgeling said to me today.

How cool that they still like to color eggs. I hope you had some really good refreshments for them. You know, after winning all that loot.

Sounds like your house was the place to be. Your a wonderful mom for letting them gather to make a mess.

By the way, did Bird lay those eggs?

They are lovely ladies, and I've got a nice, soft shoulder for you when they fly.

They're lovely! How fun that they still love the girly stuff!

Think of how much fun you'll have with them as they grow. I love hanging out with K2/Girlfriend!

Ha, and the monogrammed egg made an appearance! I think when we all come back on break next year, we need to do it again!

Thank you for putting up with us all this time! We love you too!

Proud mama. That's just great! We dyed eggs last weekend. I hope he still wants to take part in that Easter tradition when he is all grown up.

It looks like they had a lot of fun! I was worried when I saw some of the cute clothes and easter egg dye in the same area! I hope everyone came out clean!

Hopefully this will be a tradition for all the girls to continue year after year ONLY at your house. They'll bring the Grandbabies too!

STOP!!! My oldest babe is just finishing her first yr in college.
My youngest reminded me (like I could have forgotten???) that she will be 18 in a yr and 1/2 and will be leaving that soon...

I hear you. I totally understand.

I work at a school. And, I have come to discover that this is one of the reasons why. And they keep growing up and moving on. And life, it goes on despite it all.
