My Friends at the Gym

Day two thousand and ninety three of my return to health:
And then I go home and do more.
Riiiight.
Seriously, who the hell invented this?
Are you aware that your armpits can get a muscle strain?

Poor Mama! Easy on the armpit! Hows your core?

The mini marathon is only 2 weeks away. The day after all this exercise, real and imagined can be a thing of your past. No more strained armpits!

Oh, Lord. Armpit pain sucks. Take it easy. Dr. Tracey said so. :0)

I dont get this whole pilates thing ... why would I want to bend that way at this stage of the game?

That's about 2000 more days than me. Hang in there - maybe you'll inspire me to get off of my (ample) rear.

Ha! You go!

Never tried pilates. I hear it makes you taller. And have sore arms, apparently.

I'm with Daryl! What the heck?!

I was doing yoga with a video at home one day and my dancing daughter bounces into the room and starts doing everything they are doing on the tape. No strain, no grunting, unlike me who was doing both!

Yes, but if you stick with it you will have really buff armpits.

Um, do you want really buff armpits?

Mary

Keep at it - My sister in law started in January and you can really tell a difference!

Oh man, I'll never forget - I bought a pilates and yoga tape (yes, all in one). My daughter and I tried it out together (she was about 15 at the time). We looked like two crazy women writhing in pain on the floor. We laughed so hard we both peed our pants! That was my one and only pilates experience!

Looks like the dog has it down pat. Nice looking armpits too!

Good luck with that. You know, if your goal is buff armpits. ;)

I started Pilates 2 weeks ago; I spent all of last week in bed or at the chiropractors. I somehow managed to strain my neck muscles. WTH? I so better be in bikini shape by the end of May!

Pilates, wasn't he a torturer in the New Testament?

And working on your armpits will help your running how? I say that lifting a glass and applying deodorant are the only exercise your armpits need.

I have a Pilates CD from 2 years ago, still unopened. Now, my sweet Maggie doggie held all her toys like this when we played and this made me laugh!

Love you, Mama!!

What is this thing called a gym?

It took me so long to get a pilates dvd with a circle that I was too tired to see if the thing even worked. Now that I know they're dangerous, maybe I'll sell mine on ebay.

Pilates is like steroids - quit and watch out!

I am proud of you and know that it is all worth it....you are inspiring me to run a half marathon later in the year. One mile down and 12 more to go for me.

I can send my little Alien over to ya....he's good at making ya feel better about your armpits! ;o)

I've only sat & watched my Pilates video so far, lol. That way you can't get hurt. Just bored.
