Decisions, Decisions...

This is Mama's desk at 5 PM.
The magnifying mirror is in case I find something new to tweeze.
The wine?  Well you should know me by now.
The iced tea?  Should I have that instead?
What should Mama do?

This is Mama's desk at 5:30 PM.
Decision made.
Happy weekend everybody!

I'm so relieved to know I'm not the only one with beverages lined on her desk. Among many other things, I currently have a Vintage Seltzer water can, an Aquafina water bottle, some Essential Magnesium (250 mg), an old bottle of Jovan White Musk (?? I have no idea), some Trader Joe's Fiberful fruit bars (they're old, and I have no intention of eating them, just can't manage to walk them to the trash can) and an empty wine glass.

I'll be making a similar decision later today, except mine will involve colors: red or white?

Oh, and just to clarify, that empty wine glass is from last night, not from this morning at 9:00 a.m. No, if I were drinking at 9 a.m. there would be champagne involved, but I'm not so there isn't.

Thank goodness you were able to choose correctly. Chard?

Such choices we are faced with each day!

Have a great weekend yourself!

Had you chosen the tea, you might have suffered the Wrath of Grapes. :)

Daughter finished summer grad school sessions and we're heading to Wiederkehr Wines this weekend. The oldest and largest winery in mid-America, for wine tasting and tours. No men allowed day!

it might not be so wise to drink and pluck...it's kinda like drinking and driving without the felony on your record.

I couldn't have imagined there WAS a decision to be made. Hope you enjoyed your late afternoon cocktail. :-)

Great choice however I would have had the bottle right next to the glass

You silly girl. I am surprised the gladd wasn't a little fuller, and emptied a little faster. I guess you need to practice a little more!! And not out by the pool? What is up with that? Ok, go back to square one and start over again.

You made the right choice, Mama. Caffeine that time of day would have been BAD. :D

Excellent choice, Mama:)

You were sooooooo close to me on your visit. I am only about 35 miles from the airport you flew into, and I work in the 'Burg. My mother went to the college you were visiting - it is a great school. I will be crossing my fingers that she goes there, because you must visit. I'll keep a few bottles of chardonnay handy just in case.

There was even a decision to be made?!?

Ha! The wine looks electrifying...like a real zapper! How many did you get?

Oh if I had wine at my desk I would be swooning to the tapping of my keyboard. However, only jibberish would show up. Iced tea for me. Can you imagine me cleaning my pool on wine?

LOLOLOL!! you crack me up with the tweezing!

Enjoy your weekend, who is responsible for keeping your wine glass full?

Good choice. Although, I don't know if I would be able to properly post a blog after a glass of wine. Low tolerance and all. Have a great weekend.

I just read CBW's comment. I graduated from that college! It's a great place to be! Of course, there was no on-campus housing when I attended......
