This-n-That Thursday

More drivel, but it's wise, humanity sorta stuff. I am allowed....
Hey, I'm older than the President:
  • Love is not a feeling, it is a behavior.
  • You don't really have to have 8 glasses of water every day.
  • "Parent" is actually a verb.
  • Don't "say," just "do."
  • How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours. ~ Wayne Dyer
  • That clean underwear thing you've always heard? It's true.
  • Love is when two people know everything about each other, and it's okay.
  • True friends stab you in the front. ~ Oscar Wilde
  • A dirty diaper always needs to be changed as soon as possible.
  • Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence. ~ George Washington
  • The only way to have a friend is to be one. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
  • Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. ~ Abraham Lincoln
And, yes, I know this is quote-heavy, but they are brilliant, right? And, wise? Don't worry...all my good friends are still there. I've just been thinking....

What do you have to add?

Life is 10% of what happens, and 90% how you react to it. It determines your attitude.

Love the list of quotes....I like "if you glass is always half full, you will never go thirsty." Use this with my Mom all the time...her glass is dry and cracked.

Definitely a great list. Due to a severe lack of coffee this morning, I have nothing to add other than, "I'll sleep when I'm dead," but that really isn't what you were looking for here.

It may look like I'm doing nothing, but I'm actively waiting for my problems to go away.

Great list!

One of my favorites is that it's never too late to be who you've always wanted to be.

I was going to say "Life is a bitch, and then you die" but I don't that quote by Rapper Nas would go down too well here.

Good Morning! Love your list of quotes. Have one to add, 'scuse the length of it :)

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other(wine in my case), body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!" Thanks to Eve, know you won't mind.

Mental P Mama your blog makes me smile every morning!
