The Power of Now is an AWESOME book! I've read it several times because each time I go through it, I pick something else up, which I thoroughly enjoy. I would recommend The Power of Now to anyone, excellant choice!!!
I have to find one to read Sunday at the beach. I POD charged and sunglasses, all the beach stuff and good friends. I love the beach. Oh can't forget the surfboard keeping fingers crossed there will be waves ...LOL... Hope you all have a wonderful safe holiday weekend......
Funny, I'm reading the Power of Cow...an intriguing story about beautiful bovine's that take over a farm to start their own brothel aptly named Heifer for Hire...a most interesting read...
Right now I'm reading True Evil by Greg Isles. It's been making my skin crawl. I also have Jungle by Yossi Ghinsberg and studying some literature I just received on American Brilliant Period cut glass that will take some time to get through, but it's a labor of love.
Have a great weekend and fun Memorial Day.
Haven't those cows left yet? Have they been playing Marco Polo in the pool? LOL..
No beach in this chick's weekend .. a street fair, brunch and the GreenFlea tomorrow .. today was MUCH needed beautification™...
I have been reading Richard Russo's Straight Man for far too long . its good but not involving .. and the stack of other books needs getting through .. if only I could quit him .. LOL .. enjoy the beach, remember to put on sunscreen ..
I just finished The Book Thief, which I plan to post on soon. Fantastic read. Will have to check out the Power of Cow! But will probably catch up on my pre-reading list before my next class.
I read The Pact by Jody Picoult this weekend. Since it rained the whole darn weekend. The book was kind of depressing and long. I should have read a fun, fast read.

Do you know where your summer reading book is? I do! It's in your purse...which is residing on my couch. (tee hee!)
The Power of Now is on my reading list and I wish to hell I could go to the beach and read for like 2-3 weeks straight! Oh...would be heaven.
I guess I could put on earphones, listen to beach sounds and sit on deck and read. Snort some saline up in my nose....you get the picture! LOL

The Hours was so good. The ending took me aback for a moment.

I am *rereading* "To Kill a Mockingbird."
I just love this book and will continue to *reread* it at least once a year.
Beach? If only....
This one is on my list, for the second time. Gifts From the Sea by Ann Morrow Lindbergh, second time, too. Second Journey by Joan Anderson also.
And the cows are reading this book?
i wonder what kind of adventure the cows are now going to go on once they are enlightened.
Those cows are teaching me a lot!
