Beach Reading

What is on your beach reading list this weekend?
I'm reading The Hours by Michael Cunningham.
Most excellent book.  Remember the movie?

The Power of Now is on my reading list and I wish to hell I could go to the beach and read for like 2-3 weeks straight! Oh...would be heaven.

I guess I could put on earphones, listen to beach sounds and sit on deck and read. Snort some saline up in my nose....you get the picture! LOL

The Power of Now is an AWESOME book!
I've read it several times because each time I go through it, I pick something else up, which I thoroughly enjoy. I would recommend The Power of Now to anyone, excellant choice!!!

Funny, I'm reading the Power of Cow...an intriguing story about beautiful bovine's that take over a farm to start their own brothel aptly named Heifer for Hire...a most interesting read...

Right now I'm reading True Evil by Greg Isles. It's been making my skin crawl. I also have Jungle by Yossi Ghinsberg and studying some literature I just received on American Brilliant Period cut glass that will take some time to get through, but it's a labor of love.

Have a great weekend and fun Memorial Day.

Haven't those cows left yet? Have they been playing Marco Polo in the pool? LOL..

I just finished The Book Thief, which I plan to post on soon. Fantastic read. Will have to check out the Power of Cow! But will probably catch up on my pre-reading list before my next class.

I read The Pact by Jody Picoult this weekend. Since it rained the whole darn weekend. The book was kind of depressing and long. I should have read a fun, fast read.

Hm, must look at the Power of Now book...
