Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

Wherein the college children come home for Fall Break, and the mother has to beg to see them:

PS: Only the girl child wanted to go shopping. Imagine that....

I can't even imagine what that must be like...

Oh wait... I texted K2 to bring home dog food this weekend.

Thank goodness I have K3!

At least you'll save money with only one wanting to go shopping!

You know you've done a good job when your kids have a life away from you. But dammit. Isn't there a happy medium?

And they weren't even lured in by lasagna?!? Maybe you need to cut back on the $$ available to them while at school. You know, put the 'starving' back in starving college students.

I love the way you keep trying, though!

Snort! I think I'll put this texting thing off with little T as long as he can still talk!

Man, I'd be all over the lasagna and the shopping - what was HE thinking??!! Well, his loss! :)

Ouch. Maybe next time said fruit of your loins will be less busy and more inclined to come and see their MOTHER! They read your blog don't they? This is me smacking their little texting thumbs.

I like Woody's comment. HA! starve the little suckers, that'll set em straight.

I suspect that if I texted my kids that they'd block me. ;)

I'm with yogurt. I sometimes wish mine was one of those that laid around on the couch all the time. Well, he did that Sunday and I watched TV with him..hoping he'd utter a complete sentence. As in a conversation.

I wish I'd had 5 and was still married. But it is what it is. He throws me a cracker every once in awhile.

Believe it or not, the time will come when they really only want to see their Mom.

With our daughter in law school, we barely get to even talk to her. She's always at the library or in class or out with friends. Wah! I guess I'll be making a trip to Dallas soon.

The male child is much like yours. Very little to say & mostly unavailable, but still making the Dean's List, so I keep my mouth closed, LOL!
