It'd be a lot easier on you if you'd just tell Augie not to fill you in on his rugby injuries...just sayin'. (:

I liked the "hello!" He's a man of few words and rugby is one rough sport!

I recognise the "Hello?" not on text though but in real life. It always amazes me what my kids hear or not, as the case may be.

I think you showed admirable restraint - it would have taken all I had not to get in the car and drive there and have him go to the doctor.

My son is almost nine; we can all hope I outgrow this tendency before he gets in college!

I so relate. I just sent David a 2nd text: "Reply? Not nice :("

He still hasn't responded. I mean where is the respect here? LOL

Rugby is a tough guy sport! My paternal grandfather was an Olympic rugby player for Germany before the fall to Hitler. He brought has wife and my father to America on the last free boat. He was a giant of a man and his strength of character equal to his stature. Rugby players rock.

Yes, the independence thing thing is often hard to swallow. It used to make me crazy but I think I've finally gotten over it. I. Hope.
