In The Park With My Puppy

October 28, 2010.

One does not need to fast for days and meditate for hours
at a time to experience the sense of sublime mystery
which constantly envelops us.
All one need do is to notice
intelligently, if even for a brief moment, a blossoming tree,
a forest flooded with autumn colors, an infant smiling.

Interesting link. I think it's a wonderful idea and would love to see more of this happening in our area. Beautiful. ;j

Are you close enough to walk here from where you live? It looks flat and I love flat. No hills. All towns need to start "growing" this way. So tired of boxes. I want trees.

Dora is lucky you take her to such great places :)

Read the link and I like the effort to maintain links to history and restore connection (trust) to the land. Good place to put yourself and Dora.

A walk in a beautiful part of nature is one of life's greatest pleasures. Glad you've got a spot like that.

That's a once in a lifetime shot. I love these images with the sun rays shining through the mist as the leaves and branches of the trees give them definition. Really nice.

Found your blog through Hilary at the Smitten Image, and I'm very glad I did.

What a fantastic shot! Of course, I couldn't really enjoy it until I'd gone to another part of your blog and found the puppy! You cannot promise a dog and not deliver ;-)

Okay, you can promise a dog and not deliver when you have a photograph this lovely to share.
