This-n-That Thursday

Why Madrid is my new favorite city:
  • The fountains (everywhere).
  • The cleanliness (amazing).
  • The weather (dry).
  • The people (friendly).
  • The olives (self explanatory).
  • The jamon (ham).
  • The Retiro (park).
  • The bread (also self explanatory).
  • The Reina Sophia (museum).
  • The cava (sparkling wine).
  • The taxis (always where you need one).
  • The flamenco dancers (seriously).
  • The whole package.
What is your favorite city? More to come. Now that I am back home, I am trying to adjust to these horrible hours we keep here...

Ah, favorite city. Maybe New Orleans. But to visit, not live there. I'm getting hungry just thinking about the food there...

Sounds like you had a wonderful time!

Madrid sounds fabulous. I don't really have a favorite city since I enjoy each and every one I get to explore.

Victoria is my favorite city, hands down! The water, the pubs, the trails and parks, flowers everywhere, the museums! Ahhh...!

So glad you enjoyed yourself!

My dad and step mom are flying to Rome today. Sigh....

Welcome Home!!!

I am not the world traveler that you are, so my favorite cities are stateside.

I'm sitting here trying to think of cities I've been to and love and am coming up blank other than NYC.
Like Happy says though, I love Charlottesville too!

San Francisco will always be my favorite city. I was lucky enough to live there for 10 years.
