Lagging

Last weekend, I was sitting under this tree.
In Toledo, Spain.
This weekend, I am back home.
In Connecticut.
And I don't know whether it's the time difference,
or if it's just me being, well, me.
But I feel blah-ish.
I have nothing interesting to say.
I have no energy.
I have plenty to do...
I just don't want to do any of it.
Nada.

It is called "jet lag" and it usually is at its worse two to three days after the time change...you will get better and so will your desire to get things done. Have a great weekend.

Personally, I subscribe to the "do nothing on a regular basis" approach to life. We don't do enough of it. There isn't anything better than sitting under a tree and really enjoying it, unless it's lying under a tree!

Oh my gosh. The tree is glorious. Wow. Wow. WOW! I can't wait to see everything thru your lens!

Such a blue sky! Maybe you need to book another flight?

Personally, I think it is something to do with this particular Friday since I feel the same way and I didn't just return from Spain!

I have heard that this is normal when a world traveler returns home. Isn't it nice to know how normal it is, though?
That tree is really cool. I miss you!! And I can't wait for BlogFest. We need to get together sooner.

I'd guess jet lag plus post-vacation blahs. Understandable!

Take some chardonnay, chocolate, and a trashy novel.

Just go back to bed and snuggle with Dora. Everything will come around.

What a wonderful tree!

I'm right there with you, and jet lag is not a factor.

Did you go to SEvilla, because that was my favorite. Madrid, Avila, Segovia, Toledo were great too, but Sevilla was my favorite.

The sangria served at lunchtime was good too. Of course I was in the 11th grade, but that's not important now.

You know, everything goes better with olives-- even the blahs ;-)

It is guilt....guilt that YOU went away and left all your friends here. While you were out seeing the world and having a wonderful time enjoying life...What is wrong with you? Why would you do something like that? Oh, because you can and you deserve it and you enjoy it and we all love you for it! I am so glad you had a good time, now sit down, relax here at home and all that stuff that needs to be done, will get done later.
PS, have you seen ALL the mess the college football is in right now? I can not believe this. Sad for us, I know it does not really affect you, but I think it is sad that money rules even how the college football teams play in their leagues.

You do not need to DO anything. Just relax :)

Remember your This & That Thursday with the panty liner link? I tried and it said I'd already received mine.

Guess what I got in the mail today?
Yep. I couldn't stop laughing and thought of you, which I do a lot :)

I've been feeling the same since I arrived here in the Uk from the States. It's jetlag and I think it takes about a week to feel "normal" again.

Hey, you deserve some down time. You always have to rest up after a vacation. It's a rule. Follow the rule and you will be fine.

That's how I always feel after visiting my friend on the east coast. I'm convinced it's mostly depression at missing my friend so much.
