This-n-That Thursday

Mushy brained thoughts:
  • I am loving my garden this year, but have had it with all the floating cobwebs.
  • I have recently developed an addiction to root beer.  Not diet, either.  This is a problem.
  • I also like ginger tea.
  • I am also on a grilled cheese kick.  I like to have a root beer with them.
  • I wonder when those helicopter thingies will finish coming off the maple trees.
  • Does anyone else like to have breakfast for dinner?
  • I have never worn my red cowboy boots.
  • I am excited to go to NYC on Saturday (to see some bloggy buddies;)
  • Seriously, is it just me or do you have a lot of those cobweb thingies, too?
  • I love pistachio ice cream.  I wonder if it would make a good root beer float.
  • What is the coldest water temperature you can tolerate for swimming?  I like a minimum of 83.
  • Anyone want to add anything?  I'm hungry now.

I love me some grilled cheese. Yes, I have tons of cobweb thingies- hate 'em, but they don't seem to care. Can I borrow your red cowboy boots for the Kenny Chesney concert? I mean if your not gonna wear them.....

That root beer addiction? Yeah, you and me both. Sup with THAT?

What size are the boots? Oh who cares! Let me know if you don't want them. :)

I'm hooked - HOOKED - on sea salt roasted almonds. And Sam's sells them in the addiction size canister. Yes. This is also a problem.

I've loved RB all my life, but I now have to drink diet A&W. Sad.

I think I need new shoes. How 'bout you? :) Thought so.

Have you tried grilled cheese with the velveta jalapeno's in them? ummmm, yummy. Oops, now I am getting hungry.

Root beer is really good, but if I have a choice it would be Pepsi. Most of the time, water.

Even if the red boots did fit, and even if you did give them to me, I wouldn't wear them. I don't wear tight anywhere!

The only cobwebs I have are in my head.

I'll have a rootbeer float, please!

Cats are getting royally upset with the helicopter thingies here.

Thank heavens I ate before I read this post. I would be craving grilled cheese with a root beer and pistachio ice cream for dessert. Or maybe pancakes for dinner. I used to do that with my boys when they were little. Make breakfast for dinner.

My husband wouldn't eat with us. I always thought it was because he was British and lacked a sense of hummer.

Grilled cheese sandwiches are my favorite food--ever! I also adore brinner.

Root beer floats need to be made with vanilla ice cream.

Do you think you would mind Diet Root beer? Sometimes I get on kicks like that. Capri Suns were really floating my boat for a while this spring. Then one day I noticed that I drank 7 and that was like 1000 calories... I freaked out!

Oh, and wear the boots. You are so cool!

I wish I could go to NYC with you....we would eat breakfast for dinner;)

Bring the boots in July. Also, pack extra root beer and grilled cheese. And wine. And guacamole.

Did you ever get the root beer in the blue aluminum can with a pull tab called--I think--frosty? There was a picture of an old man with a beard or an elf or something on the front. The BEST root beer ever.

Oh dang, MPM. I have to go fish my pint of Ben'n'Jerry's out of the freezer now.

We have blooming cottonwoods here, so lots of fluffy white floating things. No cobwebs, but probably just as bad.

Those boots were made for walking - or a half marathon!

Pool - anything between 75 and 80 is good for me.

Root beer - good stuff.

I love breakfast for dinner. Or lunch.

Grilled cheese is good too - I love a mix of american and provolone on Portuguese bread.

Wear those boots girl!

Yum.. pistachio ice cream. I don't see it often and it never quite seems to live up to how I remember it from when I was a kid. But still.. yum.

You're going to see Daryl again, I'll bet. I'm envious! Have a great time. :)

I was out in the yard today and I thought my god where did all these webs come from. It was literally overnight. Maybe it was cobweb Wednesday?

Pistachio Ice Cream and Dr. Brown's Cream Soda makes a great float.

Breakfast for Dinner as well as Cereal Night are favorites in my house.

Last night it was Steamed Shrimp and Beers at the Pier Restaurant on the Bay.

Have fun on Saturday. I want to see some pics!

Have a blast in NYC!

Wear the boots, or give them to me! Red Cowboy Boots? Never worn? I should take your root beer away for that one...but I won't.

I am hungry now and I think I will have a...uhm...grilled cheese ~ oh yes, that sounds heavenly right now!

I could live off grilled cheese and have more cobwebs than usual this year. Why? Haven't had a root beer since 1977 in Michigan at A&W's. Why?
Sure am missing out here...

Wear those boots, girl!!

We usually have breakfast for dinner once a week. The girls really love it. It's almost like we are doing something naughty or kinda crazy.

I can break those boots in for you if you want. Those cobweb thingys are because of all the rain is what I say. I like breakfast for dinner and grilled cheese. I'll pass on the root beer but I'll take a Corona. Cdub opened up our pool yesterday. I like it about 90. Have a fun weekend!

My husband thinks breakfast for dinner is weird. I say he's weird.

Wear those boots to BlogHer and then I'll be able to pick you out of the crowd!

I do believe you have gone around the bend with your red cowboy boots in hand....since you're not wearing them...

BTW - I cannot ABIDE root beer. Ewww!!!

Those helicopter things...this guy at the mental health center once told me they were sparrow seeds...meaning they bloomed sparrows, of course. He gave me lots more good info, too...with the story of Easter beginning with Jesus had a party...

I can't believe you haven't worn those boots yet!!!! You just need to get a cute short bluejean skirt with a cute top & get your boots on.

The long strings of webs always give me the creepy crawlies but they are even worse @ the golf course than in my garden. Eewww! The other day after playing golf I was at the bank and the teller said "Oh, you have a spider crawling in your hair." Can we talk public spectacle here? Arrrrgh!

I love to eat pizza for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. It's the Great American way, is it not?

There's nothing better than a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Mmmm...
