What is that strange glowing orb in the sky that is casting shadows? Enjoy it while it lasts!

Is that gopher wood I see?

Someone once said "If it weren't for the weather, what would we all talk about?" Well, I for one would be a lot less bored, and presumably a lot less boring.

I love that quote!!!
But living in FL I do find myself talking about the weather alot!!

My husband is forever sending me text messages about the weather.

If the predicted storms hit here today, you may need to swing by and pick me up!

Is there room for me??

Wow, how prophetic? Or something.

It stopped raining here. We did get a brief evening shower with about 20 pellets of hail last night. But, sun is out again today. Keep your fingers crossed!

That looks like a great fixer-upper.

Not a bad spot to have the next East Coast Blogfest.

Photos hinting at the weather, however, are perfectly acceptable. :)

:-)

Hail pounding on the air conditioner woke me last night around midnight. Then I heard thunder, then the town siren. The one that signals something's wrong, like a tornado or severe storm on the loose. The neighbor's car alarm woke up The Child, then we all went back to sleep.

Wow, that was boring, wasn't it?

I won't tell you the weather we're having here...but I might have to borrow that to rescue us...

I was just thinking of building one of those!

Oh, I have one of those.

I am expecting to see the ark any day now.

I hear you. When you are finished loading up, will you swing by here and rescue us from our rooftop? Thanks, I would appreciate it.

Linda said...

When the Ark gets to my house, I'll probably be the last one on! We've had a little rain, but nothing to write home about.

Caution/Lisa said...

That hurts deeply. We're overcast here, thank-you.

I love that quote.

Yeah well...that is until you are stuck without sun for 4 days straight!!
It was sunny here in WP for about 1/2 an hour!

So I shouldn't tell you how hard it's raining here?

Ellen said...

Can you pick me up when you go through NJ?

Sassy said...

Can you waterski behind it????

The sun came out today! It has been SO refreshing and wonderful! I love your ark!

Guess what? It didn't rain after this morning. It looks like it will, though. Can I get one of these in a compact size?

And it is exactly what my husband's family can spend an hour on-- amazing, I have never seen anything like it: long-lost sister: "Hey brother, it's really sunny here today, what's it like where you are?"
Sucker who never minds that his sister pops in and out of his life about once a year: "Oh, it's great today, but in march we had an unexpected rain". weird.
sorry, you triggered an emotion with this not-quite-wordless weds.

The photo is wonderful!

Assuming that whole upper deck is the bar, and the captain looks like Harry Connick, Jr., I'm in.
