Self Diagnosis

If I get this....
No need to trace my travels.
I will have contracted it in a 17 year old's closet.
In Fairfield County, Connecticut.
On May 4, 2009.
I think I have muttered his complete name 100 times today.
Along with some other words.
I just hope the washing machine stays healthy.

That's actually neat.. you should see my kidlets' closets. Maybe you shouldn't.

Make him do his own laundry so he doesn't end up bringing it home to you every weekend when college starts in the fall.

Empty nest has bonuses - less laundry.

Yes, empty nests usually means less laundry, until they come home for a holiday. Then WATCH OUT! I think my washer and dryer goes all day and all night when the kids are home. It is cheaper to use mom's detergent!

Not too bad at all! Maybe you can teach him how to do his own laundry?

I've seen the baby kissing the pig before...it is cute in a sicko kind of way!
I remember those days when my son's entire room looked that way. Then they grow up and move out...I miss that messy room. sigh...

Hey, at least his is in the closet. My daughter just drops it on the floor, on the bed, on the chair... you get the idea. ;)

trojan posted this picture too, its pretty awful isn't it, whats the point in telling your child to cover his mouth, and to wash his hands if you're going to let him kiss a pigs snout????

Time for Augie to do his own laundry and keep any germs to himself. Of course I say that and if it were Spawn, I would do his laundry and contract what ever he brought home. Tell him to stay away from the townhouses at the campus - that's where the flu is!

Ick. I didn't do my sons laundry from the time they each reached 6th grade. I did have one whose closet looked this, though . . . was I a mean mom?

oh come on, that's the best mess you could come up with? seriously?

Oh! How I can relate. This actually looks good to what we have going on up in here.

My son, who stuffs his dirty laundry not in the dirty clothes basket but, for example, under his bed, in the bathroom closet, in gym bags and in his pillowcase, had the nerve to come down at o-dark thirty this morning looking for clean underwear. I send the stuff up clean, he never puts it away, he throws it in with the dirty (in the bathroom closet for example) and then expects me to magically produce clean underwear on a Monday morning right before I have to drive 50+ miles one way to a job?

Pour me some wine, and make it a bottle.

You've seen my closet...Pale Rider wants to tackle it this weekend; I told him I would rather pull weeds from the garden.

I agree with Grandma J
Maybe you can teach him how to do his own laundry?
Cheers!

Is this what I have to look forward to? Oh dear heavens. Kill me now...

PS I love that word: chutzpah.

Just got through washing all of No1 son's university linens/various bacterial cultures/wet towels/flotsam/jetsam.

My dryer died halfway through. And here I thought I was the only one who was afraid.

are you kidding me...I still get conned into doing laundry for my 25 year old daughter.....good grief!

ok that is freaking hilarious. I've had dogs and so many times, I'd let them lick my face and then their tongue got up my nose Ahhh!!!!

Shawn said...

Everytime I see that 'pig licking' picture it makes me shudder.

That closet..that's nuthin'.

If you thought it was bad then I guess I can't ever invite you over to my house cause I really hate having to do CPR on my guests that have a heart attack at the sight of my messy house.

Go easy on him Mama...he must be too excited about graduation!!!

I don't have to mutter my daughter's name, my mum-in-law does it for me. My mum-in-law can deal with the silent treatment then. She hates when my daughter lets her room go.

That looks like my daughters whole room and she has a sore throat... hmmmm.
