Skywatch Friday

Be thou the rainbow in the storms of life. The evening beam that smiles the clouds away, and tints tomorrow with prophetic ray.
Lord Byron

Skywatch Friday is the genius of Wom Tigley

Isn't it amazing how such a dark, gray, foreboding sky can produce such color and exquisite beauty? The power of light in darkness is truly amazing.

This very adeptly illustrates my belief that all the difficult and challenging things we have to go through in life create something more beautiful when all is said and done.

Happy Friday!

I answered your question about the "monkeys" on my desk. They are not monkeys but you might get a kick out of what they are.

I left a long response on the blog you were just at.

niiiiice. we had rain earlier today. where is my 'bow? darn you sky! give me a 'bow!

although with the frequency of rain here? the skypainter probably gets tired of all the 'bow painting.

That is so AWESOME ! And the verse is so true. Haven't had the time to get in here. A lot of things have happen the last 2 days. And they haven't been happy things either. I will try and get in Saturday or Sunday to write about it. So Sorry.

Rainbows can be hard to capture with the camera. Outstanding shot!

To fog or not to fog: that is the question.

Well, this is the first rainbow I have seen in awhile! Beautiful is insufficient to describe it! I see we have somethings in common. I, too, love "Holiday Inn" and "Are You My Mother?" I also like "Christmas in Connecticut" with Barbara Stanwick. Connecticut is where I grew up. Thanks for visiting my blog.
