Ouchies

My Baby Bird had four impacted wisdom teeth removed yesterday.
She was way more brave than her mother.
I didn't like it.
Not one bit.
Now she looks like a baby chipmunk.
Feel better, my sweet Birdy!

What did the tooth fairy leave her?

Winetipper: She got some mashed potatoes and some vicodin. And she was happy with it.

That hurts me to even read about it, but vicodin can certainly help with that....mashed potatoes too.

Oh..gosh...oh my! Poor bird...

All four at one time? Did they put her to sleep? David is due to have just ONE removed...ugh!

Hope she's better soon ((Baby Bird))

Yikes! I had all four of my removed at once as well. i didn't want to go through it four times. Pour lamb. Hope she has a speedy recovery. Pretty girl.

Poor little muffin... and poor you. After babysitting k2 and her tonsils, I can relate!

Glad baby bird got her mashed potatoes. What did you get?

Leg is slowly but surely, I think, that's what I'm telling myself anyway, thanks for asking!

Awww, poor Baby Bird! Mashed potatoes and Vicodin sound like just the ticket, though. And, even looking like a chipmunk, she still has GORGEOUS hair :)! And I AM going to do that fun meme...as soon as I get eight minutes! BWAHAHA!

Ouchies is right.
I remember how I felt when I had mine removed.
You would think our species would have evolved better by now and not even have them growing in our mouths any longer.
Do you think that perhaps now we have more *wisdom* than the cave men had?

AG: I had a nice dirty martini with 3 olives. Thanks for asking. ;)

Oh, bless her heart. I'd much rather be the one in the chair than my babies (and that is saying a lot!)
Hope she has a speedy recovery.

I have always said, and will always say that for it being "wisdom" teeth, that is one of the dumbest things I have ever done in my life. Went in feeling fine, had no problems with them at all and came out feeling like ....you know what. Dumb dumb dumb. But my momma made me do it,during spring break my first year of college. dumb dumb dumb. Do you get the idea that I thougth it was a really dumb thing to do?

Hope your daughter is feeling better today, by next week I'm sure she'll be feeling just great.

Two of our daughters had it done and didn't have a bit of trouble. Me I would bruise just having a jaw tooth pulled. And you should have seen me when they pulled nine above and two below to get me ready for my full upper plate and partial below. It looked like I had been in a fight. Then I had to go three months before the dentist would let me start wearing the new ones. I did learn to eat a lof of things without them. Ha!Ha!. Thanks for your visit.

I never had wisdom teeth and when the dentist made my false ones, I have 12 above and the partial has four with my own eight, also makes 12, he said there wasn't room in my mouth for more teeth than that. And all these years I kept telling my husband I had a small mouth and he didn't believe me.

Your poor, poor baby bird! But it's so much better to have it done at her age. My Hunny had it done in his late 30's. Bad. She'll be better soon! Hugs and kisses to your little bird!
