Mama Memories

Kacey at Wine on the Keyboard has a photo contest going on, and the theme is motherhood. Midnight tonight is the deadline for submission.  Sorry to be so late with this.  But I've had company.  Fred and Bessie are lovely guests, but they can be some work.

Any hoooo.  You may have noticed that I have been facing my looming empty nest with some mixed feelings.  Motherhood has so many meanings.  This is nothing new.  Ask any mother.

After Kacey's post yesterday, I decided to make my motherhood theme based on my little angels' progress through school. Their creations can still bring a tear to my eyes.  My only problem is I don't know what to send to Kacey.  Help me out please.  And make sure to send Kacey your own motherhood shot.  Fame and fortune fun await you!

Such a sweet post! I love that you did their lonjry! I always wondered what that pile of clothes was called!

I visited Kacey and I think this idea is great for the project :)

Adorable!

But don't you like that sometimes I did the lonjry! Sometimes. The other times, the lonjry fairy would come!

ohhh how sweet.... I think that the third picture is a wonderful one to enter into the contest...

Thank you for the thoughts ...I can't sit back and relax, its not in my nature and my damn glasses broke this morning so i have to go get them fixed and I have a bank run to make and the barn wont clean its self and like my hubby I won't let my brother in law kill himself trying to do it all when his 4 sisters should be helping... bill has had several strokes and so mike and I will be helping him ... Martha will be doing alot of yard work... her and the mower will be close companions today and I am waiting on cory and stephanie to come home today because I am going to see if I can talk to Corys old probation officer un oficially as the girl who was the other half of the fight is on probation right now for making bomb threats in middle school... OH the lovely plot thickens...
can I come stay with you? HUH HUH HUH
Smiles and hugs

Oh that brought tears to my eyes. Watching out children go off is hard at times yet it is rewarding too. Knowing that we did our job, and hopefully did it well. Now a new relationship begins. I like your first picture, but they are all good and have such meaning.

Good luck choosing between those three - I sure wouldn't want to have to do it!

Oh no. I'm too late to help you out here! I'm trying to get caught up on my favorite blogs and have been so busy this week.

This is a tough choice. Any one would have been good! But I'm loving the top photo for some reason. See you at the contest!

But I also like how you sometimes cooked. I love the way little minds think. This is a sweet post.

These are so cute! I think my favorite parts are that you "usually" cook and "sometimes" do lonjry.
