So, I've been a little blue the past few days.
No real reason, just a little low.
It'll pass.
And this morning,
I go into the kitchen to see the Baby Bird off to school,
and she's wearing her tiara.
And I say to myself, "Snap out of it, Mama."
If The Bird can go happily off to school at 7 am,
with a smile and a tiara,
then I can just hold my head a little bit higher, too.
Thank you, Birdy.
For the constant inspiration.
I love you.

I think you need your own tiara! I have a group .. a Gaggle .. of gal pals from all around the country we keep in touch via a message board anyway and about a year ago we all got tiaras .. took our pix in them and posted them .. it was a hoot .. you should try it at Cocktail Corner ..

Ya know MamaP, those tiaras have a way of making us smile! Last year Not so Little One wore hers for her permit photo!!! Oh to be young and really not stuck in the what will they think mode!
Smile, the day has just begun.
I want a tiara too!...Keep smiling
Cheer up, don't be blue, fore you ducks in your pool!
i would love to wear a tiara without worring about what anybody thought...
It looks to me like you need your own tiara. Do the cows have you down? Have they been forcing you to consume mass quantities of butter? They're bad that way, you know.
Warm uplifting hugs to you my friend. Here's hoping that you and your little herd have a delightful day!
Yep - you need a tiara too - hope you feel better soon!
I've been feeling a bit blue, too, lately. Is that contagious?
Maybe I'll put on my wedding tiara, too... :)
Awww. You all are so sweet. Very dark and dreary weather here may have something to do with it...wearing a turtleneck on May 20 is not fun. Blah.
My cousin use to be a member of a club for those over 40 called Boa Babes when they got together they wore tiaras and boas. They all had individual pictures of themselves and as a group. She always had a blast with them and always smiled when she wore the tiara and boa, it helped her through empty nest deary days.
{{{{{{{ HUGS }}}}}}}}} cheer up its a crappy day here too.
They have a way of lifting us up don't they?
Hope you're feeling a little less blue...
We can all learn something from our little ones.. thanks for sharing.
I think the"blues" are just in the air. I agree with Daryl, you need your own tiara...hmmmmmm....the possibilities!
Hugs!
Sometimes it's the little things than can make all the difference OR a brand new day.
Here's hoping you have both tomorrow!
HUGSSSSSS I don't have a tiara either... i am pretty sure I have never LOL... its one of those things beyond my rhelm of understanding..
I just feel bad..allergies are killing me... eyes run nose fluctuates with totally blocked and running off my face... ears debate on open or under water... and the cough UGGGG
do you have some cheese to go with my whine???
HUGSSSSSSSSSS hope you have a great night an better tomorrow!
She reminds me soooo much of Snooty Daughter. Nothing ever embarrassed her. What a hoot!
Every year we have a New Year's Eve Party and I bought tiaras that light up & sparkle that I give to all the ladies. The men get dunce hats, lol.
Just to be as carefree as they are again, even for a moment, would be a gift.
I hear you and I can see that a tiara on a lovely young daughter is enough to cheer you up. Hope you are feeling better.
She is lovely.
And there are NO blues that a good chocolate sheet cake can't cure. Or, at least, I'm willing to die trying.
