Tuesday Text

And in other news,
The Baby Geniuses go back to Vermont today.
At this point in the big game of college student conversations,
I just ask them if they have enough skin cream.
And then? They're on their own.
I cannot believe I am going to say this...
But I like it when they are at school.
There.
I feel all better.

It's okay, you can say it. Every mother in America is saying it.

You're a hoot, by the way.

It's much better when they're away at school. If you don't know what they're doing, you don't worry.

You've cut the strings! Woot!

I feel that way about my kids and they are only in elementary and middle school. What does that mean about me as a mother?

Hahaha! My son used to wear shorts everyday, rain, snow, wind, sun... Of course he was only 5 at the time, and I frequently made him wear sweats over them.

It's always nice when vacations over!

Shorts? Is he crazy??? I guess it is all in the exuberence of youth!

Makes sense to me!

The heat isn't working in our office and I'm sitting here huddled over a space heater with two coats in. It's 50 degrees.

Yeah if they were shorts and get frostbitten thighs you will never know. Do you think if you get frost bitten thighs that the fat might freeze and fall off? Is that reaching?
