Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

The one where both the mother and the dog are dismissed:
This cutting of apron strings is tough work.
sigh

My first thought was that it was going to be very icy tomorrow because Dora would be giving you the cold shoulder for cutting her off from his page. ;)

Augie should consider himself lucky that Dora loves him enough to post to his FB page! I always told my boys that it is a parent's job to embarrass them, and I intended to do it well! When the oldest went off to college, there was no such thing as FB, and we did not have cell phones, so...I sent him a Nag-O-Gram once a week...just so he didn't miss me as much!

It must be akin to surgery w/o anesthesia. Ouch. (I would have Dora keep posting on his page, though.)

Poor Dora! She has been dissed via text message! I say she should continue her facebook comments.

I just looked up the lyrics to a song I knew from back in the day ~ "Apron Strings" ~ reading them really doesn't apply. But thanks for the trip down memory lane.

We give them wings so they can fly.

Same here. My son threatens me with 'de-friending' me if I write any comments on his FB page.

Now when kids say "It's embarrassing" it means they really like it, right? I so have this parenting thing nailed.
