Most excellent post!
The news just seems to get worse & worse about Haiti. I did my deed yesterday.
Last night hubby reminded me that Pat Robertson (who is far from sane) said that Haiti made a pact with the devil, which should explain their karma.
Whatev...
Excellent! Off to click on the free donation buttons.
Thanks, especially for the info on the free donations. This is great.
p.s. Wouldn't it be something if, instead of gathering here for Blog Fest, we all went down to Haiti and volunteered.
You are awesome! We're doing things at school here, too and giving all the proceeds to Americares.
Wonderful! Here at work they are matching 1:1 with the proceeds going to World Vision and Food For The Poor, Inc.
I thought you might want to know this after your post yesterday~
A Big Day of Giving in Mobile History
Customers of Verizon Wireless and competitors in the United States donated more than $1 million today to the Red Cross relief effort for Haiti - directly from their mobile phones.
The Red Cross shortcode 90999 with keyword HAITI was turned live at midnight on Jan. 12. As of 5 p.m. ET, Verizon Wireless customers alone contributed more than $300,000. That's 17 hours -- $10 a message -- to the American Red Cross relief effort for victims in Haiti.

Thank you, I was just getting ready to do this.
What a wonderful thing to post. You have such an amazing heart and I love you.
Thanks for the links. It's so easy to feel helpless....
Wonderful links. Good for you. I'm having trouble getting through to the Canadian Red Cross online. For all I know, my donation has gone through a few times. :]
Thank you for sharing all of these great ways to give!
Thank you - you have such a tremendously warm heart.
It's so sad isn't it.
Thank you for doing this. God bless you.
I always give through Catholic Charities. They have people in Haiti.
