Have you ever thought about being a foster parent to an animal? Lots of those rescue groups are usually looking for temporary homes until the animals are adopted.
On the other hand, Dora might not be too pleased...

LOL! I wish. I've been hankerin' for a kitten lately, but my Hunny would shoot me. Lou's pretty much put him off cats for life. Have fun, though!
After being woken up a MILLION times last night by my two wanting to go in and out, I'm going to have to say no.

there is Sugar and Spunky and Mavis Bacon the dogs, all rescues, and Monica/DeMonica the midget cat foundling from the Wal-Mart prking lot, and our latest, Bub the Cat, snatched from homelessness in advance of this very cold spell...and La batard Monsieur and now the new black and white kitty who come to eat in the yard and have not asked for shelter, along with the coons who shall remain nameless.
I'm sorry we don't have any to spare your readers, lest you should run out of prospects, but I will start a list right now, because I am sure more be along any day now. I will then gladly contribute to your placement/shopping gig.
I think it might be a good place for you to avoid, girlfriend ;^)
I'd love to put in an order. :)
