Look who took a train home from Philly!
The Augster.
He said his hellos and then?
He was off and running.
I got to talk to him while he was buckling up.
I think it was a 91 second chat.
Aaaaaannnd. Buh-bye mama.
Maybe I'll get another visit with him today before he goes back to school.
And I'll cherish it. All 92 seconds.

Hmmm sounds like a girl to me....
Busy, busy boy - needs to stop and hug his Mama!
He REALLY misses his gf, doesn't he?!!
Yep...he's a college student all right.
And he didnt bring his dirty laundry? I am impressed.
Yup sounds just like my son.. only he is a senior in HS.. the fleeting moments of conversation are crazy but I hold on to every one of them.
What a stinker! I hope you get a nice long middle of the night chat in. :)
cory lives 6 miles west of me.... he does the in out and if i am lucky a hug and kiss as he breezes through! enjoy the 92 seconds! I know you will!
Awww...so sweet of him to drop in for a minute and a half. Is be buzzing out to see a girl? We need to know these things. She has to pass your blogger friends inspection.
The life of a college student...
Ha.. I empathize. What's her name? ;)
91 whole seconds? Wow! Don't you love quality time with the kids!
Did he bring his laundry?
Oh yeah, he came home for a little comfort...very nice.
OMG! I was just in NYC because my eldest son got married. My middle son was there from Michigan - he's going to grad school there. I swear I did not have one conversation with him in 3 days. He was on the phone with his GF, playing Wii with my niece, going for rides in a Shelby with his uncle, and playing Mafia Wars on the Internet. I guess seeing with our own eyes that they are well is supposed to sustain us?
Do I see a hickey on his neck?
Hmmmmmm...GIRLS!
Aww, that's so cute! We were in Philly on Saturday and my daughter ran into a friend who is a freshman at 'Nova. We also went past the 'Nova campus after we toured Haverford. Now that's a beautiful campus!
He's loving his independence, huh? Good for him and for you. You've done a good job, Mama.
He misses you!
<><
Ha don't you just love it when they come home to visit and just pass through long enough to grab the food out of the fridge and the keys out of your hand?
Just long enough to get the laundry done? Hmmm?
My brother would hitch-hike home very weekend and then expect my father to drive him back to college (5 hours away one way). Dad drove him down to the highway on Sunday and said' you got here on your thumb, go back on your thumb." He was too lonely and eventually gave up school that far away from home. Much to my parents dismay.
Oh! I forgot to tell you that when they come home for visits, it's to visit their friends, LOL! Luckily, as the years pass, they come home to see only you...
Hi.... Bye!!
I guess home on the train means no laundry? If he brought home his laundry, you could be close to his clothes while he was out and about.
That's funny. The funniest part as you were taking photos of him for that 90 secs. LOL!
I'm so glad you got to see him... even if only for a moment or two!
LOL, this is what I've been living with for a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time! Those moments are what we live for girl!
I sooooooooooooo feel ya....D was gone two years...IT IS GREAT having him home...but he is off and about seeing all of his friends...I just want to stare at him and look up and he is there.......hugs
