Tuesday Text

I now parent via text message.
I am treated to great and informative responses daily.
Like the one below...
Augie's answers to me are on the left.
When I get a "yes" as opposed to a "yep"?
I get all excited.
Please note that I actually got a four syllable comment.
It totally made my day.
Such a riveting conversation...
I clearly need to get a bigger life.
And, yes, I know I misspelled boy.

You should read some of my texts. They need an interpreter for sure! ha! Kids would much rather text than call. Go figure.

Wow! Such communication skills! At least he hasn't decided that texting his mom is "beneath him" now that he is a college man.

We are the family in the t.v. commericial sitting at dinner texting each other. The day my daughter actually spells an entire word out will make me cry with relief. "She CAN spell 'you'!"

The longer they are there, the longer the messages get. I actually get e-mail from Spawn.

Years from now, I'll bet you're going to find out that in these heady first days of college, he also ran with scissors! BWAHAHA!

Praises be for texting, huh? What did parents in the old days do when their kids went to college?

I kept copies of everyone of our IM's when David was at ASU the first year. It's fun to look back.

THIS is better than nothing. Don't you just love the boy? ((Hugs))

How cool! I'm sure I'll do it someday!

But one more habit I don't need!

It seems to be the way of communication with today's youth. Odd, but it is what it is, mmm? We take what we can get.

I love it....he is so typical....I would be teaching at school and all of a sudden get a text from our son Z....it would go something like this...."why aren't boobs square?" I would have the hardest time keeping a straight face and keep teaching.....he always had a tuff question for me...hahahaha...love this kiddo!

That is one very funny bot.

I have had entire conversations with my youngest via text. He uses very big words and I find it difficult to keep up. Now I wish he'd text. Just a few words. **sigh**
Oh, and the playing with knives is hilarious.
