Point of View

One of our lessons this week in my photo class is Point of View.
I have found my favorite:
The Worm's Eye View.

I may never stand up again.
Except for cocktail hour.
What's your favorite perspective?

The shot of your cat is AWESOME ... our Rose is her twin and I cannot tell you how many shots of her come out WHITE.. GLARINGLY WHITE .. sigh, so I am envious of your new camera or maybe it was the light ... good shots all ..

I used to be all about macros, super macros .. closer then close .. now I am about texture and shadow .. so the angle, the POV doesnt matter to me ... right now.

Nice! Glad to see you paying attention in class =)
I like a dog's eye view myself.

My favorite perspective is from behind the camera!

I wish I could be all about something other that just getting the damn camera focused correctly. (sigh)

That Noellie and her pink ears! Too beautiful.

I know what POV means - and that's the complete limit of my knowledge. I do love the colors in the first pic.

Such beautiful work you are doing. You really are very talented. I like both high and low perspectives.

You found your own perspective and it's unique. I have one question, though...how did the worm get in your closets?

ooooo I love them all! These are great pics!

There are so many levels to that question if I was feeling zen --

For taking photographs, composition is what I'm most interested in, in a way that tells a little story. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Interesting perspective! I don't know that I have a favorite other than the "observer!"

Great shots - particularly of the cat. I can't say that I have a favourite, though Macro is always intriguing. It depends on the day, the light and the subject matter and my mood.

I don't know if I have a favorite perspective, but I do like that shot of the cat. That's different!
Glad you're having fun in your class.

You are doing so fabulous...your pic's are so good...My perspective is...that I myself like being the one taking the picture...my daughter just bought a really nice camera this weekend...a CANON EOS 40D....so she is learning all the "fun and new" things that go along with these great toys.

LOVE your shots, especially your kitty. :) I have been taking a lot of flower shots from underneath lately. I like the idea of seeing something from a different perspective. Try taking a shot of your dining room chandelier from underneath -- I guarantee it will be really cool.

Mary

I think I like the cat's eye view perspective, but that's not far from the worm.

By the way, I have an award for you over on my blog today...

I love them all, but especially the first one. On this nasty weather day, it was nice to see that shot of spring.

Anything you do is just fine with me, though! :)

I really love that first picture, and am glad to hear that you're taking classes. As part of the Blog Fest, perhaps you can give a seminar on how to use a camera with any button other than Auto, which is all I understand.

(p.s. An interview?!)

If you are offered a cocktail while laying down, beware. You know they use beer to drown slugs.

Interesting, very interesting. You are really enjoying that camera aren't you. I envy those of you that have such an eye for things like that. I have a friend that thinks "outside the box" and takes such beautiful pictures..just like you. I need to develope that skill. Keep posting your beautiful work.
