Thank You!

I'm a little tired what with all the Blogoversary celebrating, but want to thank you all--today I am sending $100 to both the Humane Society and the ASPCA.  Even better, Flash Stitcher is matching a donation as well.  Dora and Noelle want to thank you, too.  They know what it's like to finally get to your Forever Home.  And don't mind Noelle.  She's shy.

Now I have to deal with these animals today.
They are eating me out of birdseed and home.
But, truly, thanks again for your support.

Laughing here in Maryland. Love that squirrel pic!!
So glad you were able to send a sizable contribution to both organizations.

No, thank YOU.

Watch out for those squirrels - they're never satisfied, and sometimes they decide to move in with you. Then you have what is fondly known as a SQUIRREL INFESTATION.

What a face ..

Ah squirrels .. the flying rats of NYC ... so cute and yet so destructively NOT cute.

And on behalf of the animals and your friends here on the internets and elsewhere .. thank you for being such a sweetheart.

how cool! Congratulations again...
we block the tree rats with tin squares (not so pretty but it works) to keep them from destroying the birds feeders speaking of which I need to go fill ours NOW~

Squirrels will eat you out of seed and home...they are clever little creatures and I don't think there is any squirrel device on the market that they can't overcome.
I miss my squirrels. I'll tell you a secret...I used to name them. OK, now I am officially off to the looney bin!

Sorry, but I'm NOT a big fan of the Tree Rat:/

Awesome donation MentalP! I had no less than 5 squirrels quibbling around the bottom of my bird feeder this morning. The squirrel-proofy-ness of it keeps them on the ground at least.

Unfortunately, with the high winds today, my squirrel didn't make it to coffee...he's splat in my driveway!

Have you seen the movie Hoodwinked? There's a squirrel who's given coffee and it's hysterical.

My dad always said squirrels eat birdseed because no one ever buys bags of squirrel food. :-)

I LOVE that squirrel photo. I saw it on Cheezeburger today and was kind of thinking of keeping a copy for myself. Like minds...

Well, I happen to LOVE squirrels. I don't care how bad they get, something about animals and bad behavior, I can't resist it...but I think you know that.

I met someone once who rehabbed some baby squirrels by hanging little socks on an indoor ficus tree and when the squirrels needed to go to bed at night, they would each crawl into their sock for the night. In the morning, out the door they went to be wild squirrels for the day.

Yepper...$100 going to NYC ASPCA.
Glad to help.

That must be the squirrel that darted out in front of NSLO!! But, he did not make it back for a second cup! She was devestated!
