All the weatherpeople have been atwitter for days.
Big snow coming today.
The Bird's school was cancelled yesterday.
Augie's exams were called off at 5:30 this morning.
And the snow?
Not so much as a flake.
Is 10 AM too early for a drink?
I'll keep you posted during the day.
I know how curious you'll be.

Oh, my...where's the snow? I'll be curious what your day will be like!
I love it...a day off from school and exams...that's awesome! Snow schmo...if you feel like a drink by all means...go for it. Would you have one for me since I don't drink and I feel like it would help me out a whole lot...LOL ;D
I absolutely love it when people try to be proactive and then end up looking silly!
I just heard on the news that you guys should start getting the cool white stuff later on today...and yes, please keep me posted with updates. I am so jealous. I want some snow...please? I am starting to feel like there is a heat bubble over Tidewater Virginia.
It is never too early to start drinking wine. Tee hee
I have really missed you so much. You matter so much to me.

That was us two days ago. Yesterday was the real deal.
The same was promised for here. An hour or so ago, there was nothing. Now we've collected about 3 inches.. and it's going strong.
Down hereah, when forecasters call for snow, we hold our breath and hope, hope, hope real hard for more than some sleet. We also run to the grocery store and stock up on everything even though the temps the next day are forecasted to be in tehe 50s.
All that to say, one would think way up thereah when they call for snow, you'd actually get snow.
(Highs today? 70s. No kidding.)
See! You have Christmas Spirit! Look at that big ol Santa!
....oh, and no, not too early.
Hope you get that snow!!
It's five o'clock somewhere....
No snow here in NJ. A little sleet this morning, but just rain.
Is Annie off today? Nurse Nancy was secretly hoping for a day off.
I love the pictures - your yard looks so neat and tidy. It makes me want to drink when I think about how it compares to my disaster of a yard.
Which leads me to the answer to your question: As long as you're drinking wine, it's never too early, too late, or enough.
Go forth and pour. Cheers.
...That's your house? That is just too cute - I love it! :o)
...Yeah, I thought of you & TSAnnie this morning as I was watching the Today Show and they were talking about the weather you're gonna get... We've got winds here today that'll blow ya clear into next week! lol...
...Yeah, I'm with BHE up there - it's 5 o' clock somehwhere...lol... ;o)
...Blessings...
And when they go to the store and buy out all the milk and bread - it's CRAZINESS.
I hope you get the fluffy stuff - and it doesn't shut everything down.
Wow. Some snow day! Want some of the snow here? We've got PLENTY to spare!
Isn't that the way it goes? Meteorologists say "big storm," people panic, stock up on milk and bread and nothing happens, not even a flurry. Then they say "might see some precip, but no accumulation," and next thing you know the power's out statewide (due to massive ice and snow) and you can't even dig yourself out of the driveway.
Why don't I have a job where it's acceptable to be inaccurate? Think of how much less stress I'd be under...
It seems to me that the flakes usually show up on the news, trying to predict the weather.
Oy - I got an email at 5:15am telling me that school was closed. So the kid is in the office with me...
I found it .. its here ... snow AND sleet .. FEH
:-Daryl
Any sign of snow????
Yeah, we're still waiting for the big ice storm that was supposed to hit - while I run around the yard in only a sweater. Gah.
Wow, I hope you didn't wax your snowboard.
Wow, look how GREEN that grass is/was. I do enjoy you sharing the before and after pictures of your days. I can't believe they called school off before the storm even came in.
