Remember that time we were in Key West? Well, I lied when the seaplane man asked me how much I weighed. But since we made it okay, it's alright. Isn't it? Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry. And that the Nikon D60's are still on sale at the camera store in Stamford.
Your friend,
Mental P Mama
PS: People--it was only 5 pounds. Okay, maybe eight. But that's it. I swear. Really.

I hope he brings you one, I am sure he understands that white lies are necessary sometimes. If he doesn't understand, contact Mrs. Claus, because she sure will.
I think since you've atoned for your little white lie Santa should bring the camera. Although, maybe you should just be happy to be alive. :)
I'm so glad the plane didn't go down.
And thanks for coming clean. You are such a model citizen!
I am excited about the prospect of the D60 for you.
LOL - in my book, fudging on the weight isn't really a lie... is it? Gah. And a D60 - I'm sure you will let us know if Santa makes good on the hint, hint! What a great present that would be!!
Me thinks Santa is usually quite forgiving. Especially if you promise to keep attending weight watchers. I personally don't want to be held accountable so I don't believe in Santa.
giggles.... I hope Santa brings you one and if he has an extra I would love one too!
When we took our trip on a helicopter to the Grand Canyon, I lied too and lived to tell about it. Santa was good to me so atoning our sins is a good thing.
Nurse Nancy
I hope you get your camera!
I beat you in the white lie department! I told the Anetheasiologist, when I had my hand operation, I weighed 20 lbs less. Messed his calculation up and he had to ask me again while on the table because I would not knock out!
I know my weight, my doctor does because his damn nurse forces me to get on the scale. Oh, and Weight Watchers knew for a while - not so much anymore. NO ONE and I do mean NO ONE else knows and ever will.
LOL! Santa's pretty lenient, I hear.
I am sure when the plane took off and landed you lifted your feet off the floor .. so not to worry, doing that negated the 'lie' .. its like eating a cookie standing up .. there are no calories because you're standing!
I sure hope you get the new camera ...
:-Daryl
My lie is in writing...on my driver's license.
I can attest that Nurse Nancy made it through the Grand Canyon on a white lie - I was with her and I lied too.
Besides, white lies about weight don't count.
wow...you believe in taking chances...I know I had to come clean when I sky dived...not pretty saying how much in front of hubby...hated it! GLAD YOU CAN STILL BE HERE TO WRITE SANTA...and your daily posts!!!!!
I hope Mr. C comes through for you. With a Nikon OR a Canon.
Psst, I heard from good sources you're on 'the good list'. :)
Not to worry. If you get that camera it automatically negates the lie because everyone knows that cameras always add on 10 pounds. ;)
Another driver's license liar here. I make no apologies. Of course, MY LIFE doesn't depend on it!!!!
They say that Santa is a Jolly Old Soul....I'm sure you will be getting that camera:)
I guess I will never be going on a sea plane! What the heck. You have to give your weight out? I was just at the Chiropractors the other day and he wanted to know my weight. For what? Do they need to write it in my records to see how much weight I've gained since last visit? Whatever. I refused. I don't need to be thinking about that huge number during the Holidays! I hope you get your camera!
My girlfriends and I went on a Hawaiian cruise 2 years ago. My roomy choose a helicopter excursion. She had to disclose her weight! OMG! I would have cancelled the excursion. And I thought to myself...she doesn't look like she weighs that much...she looks good! It is all relative!
You NEED that camera. Really. I'll go tell the elves to go tell Santa...
...Me thinks you should get the camera just for comin' clean... Hear that Santa? ;o)
...Blessings...
I have had the same weight on my driver's license since high school!
OMG that's hilarious and I would have done the same thing! My driver's license will never say anything but 115!
Ohhhh what a cool gift. hint hint santa!!
Coming clean with your little white lie right before Christmas is probably a smart decision.
I am sure Santa would NEVER ask Mrs.Claus what her weight is
(if he is as wise as he is supposed to be.)
Bear((( )))
I'm sure the guilt has been weighing you down ... pun intended.
Don't worry about Santa ... I think sometimes he likes a little naughty.
Oh it's ok, they always add 10-20 pounds on anything a woman tells them when it comes to weight! And that camera!!! I am jealous if you get one. Sweet, sweet sweet. Hope you get it and a couple extra lenses as well.
Well, you're here to tell the tale...
Well, I'll bet Santa probably fudges on the weight question, too... Hope you get the camera. :)
xoxo,
Mary
