Show-and-Tell

My weekend was busy.
First, I had to howl.
It made me very, very thirsty.
Then, I pretended to be the Fire Marshall at a party.
At the next party, I pretended to be the photographer.
Doesn't Annie look nice?
And we have Jules.
As you can see, Cocktail Corner even goes to parties en masse.
Cutie Pie Miss A.
She is having her first baby in June.
I went ahead and named it Lauren.
Wasn't that nice of me?
I thought so.
Miss K and our hostess Jen.
The smoking lounge.
Have you ever seen anything quite like this?
I wheeze just looking at it.
But they look awfully content, don't they?
Meanwhile back inside...
Their wives are just fine.
Thank you very much.
Old farts.  Sorry, not you, Annie.
MPM and Miss K.
Planning another adventure.
I'm thinking somewhere warm....
But for now, I need a nap.

There's nothing like a party with friends to get the holidays in full swing. Looks like everyone had a great time - including the men (as much as i could tell in the haze of smoke). Hope your holidays are FUN!

It looks like fun. I guess my invitation was lost in the mail? I thought so.

That moon was incredible this weekend.

You and your friends are very photogenic. We can use your pictures on the promotional brochures for the blogfest, OK?

I forgot to mention - I applaud the brave individual who strung all those lights together. This gives me new inspiration and less fear about adding some more to my already overloaded circuits...Bravo!

Looks like a good time, other than the cigar smoke. Don't get me wrong, I smoke like a freight train, but can't take the stoagies.

Oh my goodness, such a busy night that I am certain you didn't miss out on any invitation to my party. And you would have been much less busy at mine - no fire hazards to patrol and no smoking lounge to supervise.

I think you need to rest today and have a martini to deal with the stress of that party.

I'm visualizing the Baroness being "knackered"!

Looks like a dandy party! I'll just skip the smoking lounge, thanks! I'd rather hang out with my cocktail corner gals!

WOW! Moon Howler, Bartender, Fire Marshall, Baby Namer, Smoking Supervisor, AND Travel Agent?? What would they have done without you at that party?? How DO you do it?

Well, it's good to see most parties are relatively the same throughout America---the women stay upstairs, huddled around laughing and having fun while the men file off to the den/garage/basement/deck/other room to smoke cigars and talk man-talk---at least for a while. Some things never change, no matter where you live!

Those plugs, oh my word! They need a new system!

You would have found me out in the "smoker" - stogie and scotch in hand. Telling outrageous stories and laughing loudly.

Oh yeah .. I was doing that Saturday night here in NC - without the cigars.

Each & every one of you looks fabulous, dahling! Of course the men would gather in the *cough* Smoking Lounge. However, I occasionally enjoy a good cigar myself... just not those big ones. Those make me feel like I'm sucking on something else. ;-) Your party looked about like the one we went to Saturday night. Men in the garage smoking and the ladies all having a blast inside, lol.
