Double.....

Please spread your comment love.....I am holding my animal love fest open through the 30th,  and I will take challenges.  Like you, Tommy;) Please leave a comment, and I will give to the HSUS ,and I will also donate the same amount to the ASPCA.  I am willing to double my donations. Anyone want to match me?

I love my helpless, fellow travelers.  You?

Dora thanks you.  She was a rescue pup--abandoned at birth and sent to New York as a baby dog.  She is our special baby pup,  and she wishes every puppy and kitten a safe haven today.  Please help out.

You're posting and I'm commenting simultaneously here..trying to confuse a senile older woman?

I'll repeat...you rock, my friend!

I wish I had your talent for coming up with so many crazy ideas to blog about!

It's not me posting...it's Thomas Jefferson, Marlene's big baby kitty boo who will be 1 year old in January and is a rescue kitty.

Your comment on my post...does that mean you are ADHD as well? I am sooooo confused.

You are an amazingly wonderful person for doing this...just wonderful.

Every pet we have ever owned has been adopted in one fashion or another. The most recent addition, my four-year old kitty, came from the local pound. Even things as simple as old towels and a bag of dog food are greatly appreciated at these facilities. They work tirelessly for the animals in their care.

Keep up the good work, Mama! You are top notch:)

i have never had a pet (other than the fish) that was not an animal that was dumpped out by some bad human... well squirt is not exactly our dog but she is our dog becuase she rarely goes to her house ... her people just abandonded her but they are still there...but Hank oh my that dumpped out wild cat has become my little boy he is such a mess he is not happy unless he is on my chest or shoulder and since he eats regularly he is becoming a HUGE cat... he is pure persnickity and very much in charge he thinks...anyway cool anniversary party!

Every animal we've ever known has been from the humane society or the pound (at one point they were one and the same, or not, but just play along).

I've never had an animal that wasn't from a rescue. I've never had a rescue animal that didn't end up rescuing me.

I will match your donation to the ASPCA!!

Even though my two pups are not rescues, I will donate in honor of my beloved Thruway (18.5 when she went to the Bridge) and Suzi (the same age when she went to the bridge 2 years later)

Thanks MPM, you have given me an idea for a post for Wednesday!

I just found your blog and thought I'd drop by and say hi. Both of our dogs are rescues and I don't think there is really any other way to go. Personally, I think a rescue animal knows it's getting a second chance and to me and my family that has meant extra puppy kisses.

Happy New Year!
