Arlington at Christmas

Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.
Know the line has held, your job is done.
Rest easy, sleep well.
Others have taken up where you fell,
the line has held.
Peace, peace, and farewell!

With much love, respect and regard for those who have given their lives for us.  For those who continue to make the sacrifice.  And for those who will.

Awww Mama. Beautiful and God bless everyone of them and their families.

Everyone should see this...I may put it on mine too, if that's okay?

This post is inspiring. The meaning of Christmas is often lost in the bustle of shopping, wrapping gifts, decorations, party planning, and Santa. Not that this is wrong, but it's important to remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives to keep ours safe. Thanks much for the reality check.

What an absolutely touching sight...just last night we were listening to the radio station with christmas music on and you know how the service men and women come on and wish their loved ones a Merry Christmas...well my brother in law who is married to my sister came on and we got soooo excited!!! He is in Korea in an absolutely scary and horrible area and we worry and pray for him constantly...thank you for thinking of the men and women who have sacrificed so much for us...sorry this is a novel, but I just thought I would share our little experience last evening.

That really takes a lot of work from a great number of dedicated people. We should all take a few moments to think of all who have & who will serve to protect this country. Thanks for the reminder...

Yes, there are many families that will not have a "Merry" Christmas. The sacrifice is great, I hope we do have a resolution to this soon, but not holding my breath! It is a very ugly time in the world.

hummm how do I do it you ask.... well its kinda like eatting an elephant one bite at a time:) Believe it or not i really have a big lazy streak but when I do finally get to moving and doing I can go like the energizer bunny ... look out when the crash comes ... i can sleep 10 hours then. I think I have a bit of the ADHD that my son was diagnosed with but with age and learning to control the thought processes I can direct that insanity and use it for good :) martha will tell you in a second that when I am in down mode i am worse than a slug and to her her poor deprived self thats always .... if she only realised!
Happy monday I hope you guys are not snowed and iced in... its downright chilly here this morning and only supposed to be just above freezing in Atlanta today. (about 10 degrees warmer here on the east side of GA)
well best go get my clothes on Martha is nearly dressed!
HUGSSSSSSS

Beautiful. This says a lot about you, a person who takes the time to acknowledge veterans during the Christmas holiday and not just at Memorial or Veterans. God Bless you.

I'm at work and can't watch this now because I know it will make me cry. Thank you for posting it, though - I will watch it this evening.
