Lost and Found

After our little fundraising dinner dance last weekend, I was putting my things away, and I couldn't find my shoes anywhere.  I was a little worried.  How could I lose them, and when did it happen?  Did The Bird come and steal borrow them?  I mean, really, what was happening to my mind?

Then as I was driving down the road the other day I happened to look down at the floor  on the passenger side of my car (just for a nanosecond, Squazz, I promise) and voila!  There they were buried under all that crap just hanging out all this time.

Sorry for the poor quality, but I took this with my phone while I was changing lanes on Route 1.

Naughty naughty picture taking while driving!

Love the shoes though. Glad you found them.

I do think taking photos while one is driving falls under that same law about driving and talking on an other that hands-free cell phone!

I see a ticket in your future, missy!

that's hysterical! I found a pair of shoes on the floor in the back seat of MY car last week. Are we related, perhaps???

With all the crazy shoe pictures you post, I thought for sure you would have worn a pair of plastic/see-through spiked heels that could impale a small mammal.....

Just like the kittens who lost their mittens, and you can't keep up with your shoes!

thank goodness you didn't have a wreck.

Good thing you found those! They are way too cute to be lost!

Hmmm
So what you're telling me is that you don't remember walking shoeless into your house.
That is my kind of party!!

Doncha just love it when things hide in plain sight? And I, too, get a good snicker that apparently you don't remember walking into the house shoeless. But then, I am once again struck by your awesomeness that at least you knew your shoes were missing :)!

And I've heard of people doing much worse things than taking pictures while they were drivin' 55...hehehe.

WoW! I could never have taken mine off until getting home, since I'd not be able to get back into them, lol.

Glad that mystery was solved, Sherlock!

You and I must have a little chat about the well-being and safety of our fancy footwear, Missy!

It happened to us one way or another... we look for a certain things, we don't have any idea where they were... and sometimes, too, it takes more than a couple times for us to find out that it is exactly there in a place that we have been looking on...
I don't understand that...

The ending of an old song says, "You can leave your hat on....." Did you slip into a hat after that shoe-losing gala??? Heehee!!!

I know...sometimes I can be looking right at something and not see it...I took that picture of the superstitions and the sun rising one morning while driving...probably NOT the smartest thing I've done....glad you found them...they are pretty cute shoes.

I'm glad they've finally surfaced. I hate when I lose things, ESPECIALLY things I've been wearing. It's so disparaging.

This could be a scene from the car of one of my best girlfriends. She's famous for "losing" shoes, only to have them turn up on the back floorboard. You would think she would instinctively know to look there every time a pair of heels go missing, because that's the only place they ever turn up!
