Not the Shoemaker's Daughters...

Mental P and the Baby Bird went to the middle of Virginia
for a beautiful wedding.
They were prepared:
They decided that they could have used a few more.
No joke.
They may need help.

Dora-Vision™

Life in the complex.
A sneak peek at the neighbors.
My mommy cannot get enough plants between us and them...
Stay tuned....
I am watching everything around here.
Everything.
But I am just one dog....

Psssssst

Hi. I'm Dora.
And I'm famous all over the Internets.
At my Aunt Daryl's blog. And my Aunt Kate's place.
See?
Famous.
Now if I could just get my humans to get rid of this stupid collar.
My life would be perfect.
Well, maybe a nice biscuit, too.
And a nap.
Yes, then my life would be perfect.

Oysterfest--Part: The End

In case you didn't know,
I went to Virginia last weekend.
Friday night was the big Firemen's Parade.
I was all excited for months about this.
I even wore my red boots.
Sadly, there are no picture of my feet.
I didn't even take my camera that night.
These beautiful shots are from my phone.
Right here we have a fire truck:
Followed by 84 more of them.
All with sirens going.
And horns honking.
What did you say?
Saturday night we were at the Waterman and Wife's house.
They had us idiots over for a fish fry.
I'm still waiting for her deviled egg recipe.
She puts Old Bay in them. Heaven.
I think I ate a dozen eggs. Before dinner.
For dinner, I had 50-60 hush puppies and about a quart of succotash.
I think there were oysters and fish there, too.
Oh, and this is Binky.
Dressed as a squirrel.
He tolerated the evening fairly well.
Fairly being the operative word.
Sunday morning at CBW's:
That pretty much sums it all up.
Good times, indeed.
And this weekend?
Recovery.

Sunday Serenity

I like a nice, cozy day of rain.
I like how it washes all the sand and salt of Winter away.
But there is one side effect of heavy Spring rains I cannot bear.
And if I write about it, it will make me physically sick.
So you have to guess.
UPDATE:  you are right, worm people.  And I am sorry if I have been quiet, but I really am sick from them.  Can't. Eat. Just. Gag.

Go Go Boots

Remember these tires?
They were going to be behind a backyard tree for a few day?
Guess what?
Yup.
Happy Saturday everyone!

Lost and Found

After our little fundraising dinner dance last weekend, I was putting my things away, and I couldn't find my shoes anywhere.  I was a little worried.  How could I lose them, and when did it happen?  Did The Bird come and steal borrow them?  I mean, really, what was happening to my mind?

Then as I was driving down the road the other day I happened to look down at the floor  on the passenger side of my car (just for a nanosecond, Squazz, I promise) and voila!  There they were buried under all that crap just hanging out all this time.

Sorry for the poor quality, but I took this with my phone while I was changing lanes on Route 1.
